5 /5 Lilli Heart Designs: When I moved up here from Marin County I tried a couple of recommended salons. One was Paul Mitchell trained and it was the worse haircut I ever had. I looked for a salon with Vidal Sassoon trained hair cutters because I knew they were trained well. I was so happy to find VJs and found that from the owner and all the cutters are trained with Sassoon. I found Erin there who really has a good eye, and I keep returning and now feel very comfortable in my new home up here knowing I can get a good cut that works when I need it. Such a nice homey atmosphere too! I highly recommend this salon.

I am more than happy! Beautiful cozy salon, friendly atmosphere and a great cut, Im a happy lady and I will be back!

5 /5 Shauna Ashton: Out comes the colorful butterfly! Guys trust me go to Alexis at VJ Salons in Grass Valley. Ive gone to her a few times and Im always so happy with the results. She also made the somewhat longish process of doing a coloring extremely comfortable. The salon is set up to bring you snacks and beverages and Alexis amazing personality was a treat while getting this done. Shes extremely talented, please, if you need anything done to your hair do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Alexis!

5 /5 Paula Friedman: Ive had several haircuts from Magdalene and have been happy with the results each time. Being a hair-cut shy person, Magdalene is a godsend because she really listens if one says they want to experiment with change gradually. Too many hairdressers out in the world are so convinced of their own judgement that they tend to overide the clients request and do what they think is best, right off the bat. Magdalene questions the me, and other clients as I have observed, using her intuition to ensure nobody is going to go home feeling panicked over the radically unexpected. She is also an intelligent and thoughtful conversationalist, which brings another level of interest to the enterprise, and also helps put clients at ease!
