1 /5 Kelsey Myers: I visited this urgent care the week of Christmas and had a terrible experience. There was only one PA working, so I waited over two hours to be seen with me and one other person in the waiting room. I came in with extreme ear pain, a sore throat and a cough, hoping for some relief. When the PA finally came in, he didn’t even greet me even when I said hello— he just sat down and started typing on his computer in complete silence for at least two minutes. It was incredibly awkward and unprofessional.
When he finally examined me, he didn’t explain anything. I had to ask if he saw anything, and his response was dismissive: “Nope, maybe check for Covid.” I mentioned that I thought it might be a sinus infection, but he brushed it off and said he’d “give me some medicine.” Turns out, by “medicine,” he meant one pill right there in the office. No prescription, no plan for follow-up, just one pill and sent me on my way.
I had to ask the nurse for a Covid test so I wouldn’t have to buy one myself (it wasn’t Covid, surprise). Over two weeks later, I’m still sick. I went to a different urgent care in Roseville today, where I was finally diagnosed with a bad sinus infection. They prescribed antibiotics and gave me additional medication to help with the pain in my ear and sinuses.
This place was a complete waste of time and money—more expensive than other urgent cares and far less helpful. The PA didn’t listen to me, didn’t take my concerns seriously, and didn’t provide proper treatment. I won’t be coming back.
