Vanessa Pronge: Great place to visit with friends or just a stroll on your own. Sadly we were there while there was a fire in the distance thus the orange smoke in my pictures.
Jessica Sartori: Quiet, clean, and soft sand. Was nice to get away and relax a little. Cool day, warm sun and toes in the sand. Our 4yr old had a blast as well!
Lety Rangel: I was amazed as I walked by with my little Frenchie and saw the Avenger in front of the historic farm. I had never stopped there before, but I decided to walk in. Every vendor was incredibly friendly, and they had many items for sale, including lots of homemade goodies and vintage farming equipment. It was a delight to see the grape vineyards; they were absolutely beautiful. Walking into the barn to explore all the old, vintage items was exceptional, and the stories behind the pictures on the walls were fascinating. It was incredible to connect with history—everything there was worth hearing and seeing.
Dee P: Nice, very clean park. Perfect for walking around the block. Theres playground for the kids to slide. And if youre into tennis, theres a court you can play to.. quite neighborhood.
Steph Smith: Wow! What a gem of a place! Make the time to get into see this amazing collection of paintings and ship models. Such an extraordinary opportunity to see this history with a knowledgeable staff. Vivian walked us through the tour and made it so engaging and loved seeing her favorite pieces along with a fun hunt to answer the questions on pieces. The details on these models will take your breath away. The paintings are striking. Just a wonderful place!
Paul Campa: Ok park. Has a kids play area. A section for small kids and another for bigger kids. Swings and various monkey bars. Cool thing is around the play area it looks like a castle. The park has a concrete pathe for walking. The park has lots of trees, lots of benches. All the benches are not on in shaded areas. No bbq pit areas but lots of grass area. I didnt see any restrooms.
Ethel n Robert Palacios: There is a city ordinance no dogs allowed. For people who have cynophobia this is great! There arent many places left to go where we can be safe... The sand is soft, and there are volley ball courts, a pier and plenty of parking.
bOnBoNeSoCaL YaKyBlOoDliNe: Nice park. But the timer for irrigation goes off when me and other neighbors are running on the track. It would be nice if the park attendance could set it for midnight.
Also the track for running is well taken care of. But the is a big hole that needs to be fix.
I have tripped many times on that one spot. It would be nice if they could fix it before some old folk fall because of that section.
