Linda started off the haircut with a nice shampoo and scalp massage. She then went on to give me exactly what I showed her I wanted for my haircut - a soft u-shape haircut with face framing bangs. She took her time to give me exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend visiting this salon if you’re thinking about it!

This was my first time at the salon, and I was initially concerned about effectively communicating the style I wanted, especially since my hair is thick, dense, and frizzy. Ivan took the time to carefully examine my hair, review the photos I provided, and cut my hair in several steps. The result exceeded my expectations, even better than the photos I had shown him. For the highlights, I asked for a natural blend with my previous highlights, and Ivan did an exceptional job. I’m thrilled with his diligent work and the beautiful outcome. In terms of cost, I believe Sunny Salon offers better service at a similar price point compared to other salons in the Bay Area. I highly recommend Ivan and will definitely return!

She really listens to your preferences and communicates what she thinks will be best for your hair. She’s incredibly talented at achieving the perfect, beautiful color while keeping my hair healthy and damage-free (I do bleach my hair). What I love most is that she never pushes services onto the customer. If she thinks something isn’t a good idea for your hair, she’ll tell you honestly, which I really appreciate. Im not gonna lie, Brazilian waxes are painful but her technique of removing the hair with minimal pain was just mind blowing. Shes so informative and knows whats shes doing. She even pulled out the tiny hair which left the whole area very clean. Im very impressed. Definetely going back to her for all future Brazilian wax.

Anuradha Tempe: Farin had a lot of experience with hair, and that was evident in the details she looked into while doing my root touch up. My only gripe is that she did not take time to dry my hair. I sat under the dryer for over 20 minutes to dry my hair after my appointment! I don’t know about her but in all the salons I have been to a basic rough dry is a must have with hair color/ root touch up. It left a little too much to be desired in terms of service. She’s cordial and professional. Taking a star off for the service and overall experience.

Tori Roberts: Topher is such a caring hair stylist! The salon smells incredible, has such aesthetic decor and a hair washing station that truly makes you feel like you’re at the spa. He took great care in finding out my cut and color preferences and used products that my hair look incredible when I left! My hair looked good for 3 days after with no wash! I can’t recommend him enough :)

Ru: Got my cut and color done by Esme. She was soo bad at both of them. Would not recommend this salon. They cant communicate properly and overcharge as well. Cant do a proper blow out either

Samson Solomon: Hair cut was okay. I was more turned off by the fact she charged me more for curly hair. I wasn’t charged before for this when I came to her and now she added that. My hair was well maintained and didn’t cost her more time to cut than straight hair. This is hair discrimination and the fact that she said she could cut herself and was more labor intensive that’s why she is charging more is a bunch of crap. If you don’t know how to cut curly hair or don’t want to then just say it and I’ll go somewhere else. She said she could’ve also charged more for the couple sprays of hair product she put on at the end, which was another rude, unsolicited comment and very unprofessional. I will not be coming back here, the hair cut is already over $100 and the fact she is doing this is just cheap and not professional at all.
