03-2025 Cut & Color Collective in The Best 19 Hair Salon in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara Country Aura Spa Salon - Sunnyvale Samson Solomon: Hair cut was okay. I was more turned off by the fact she charged me more for curly hair. I wasnât charged before for this when I came to her and now she added that. My hair was well maintained and didnât cost her more time to cut than straight hair. This is hair discrimination and the fact that she said she could cut herself and was more labor intensive thatâs why she is charging more is a bunch of crap. If you donât know how to cut curly hair or donât want to then just say it and Iâll go somewhere else. She said she couldâve also charged more for the couple sprays of hair product she put on at the end, which was another rude, unsolicited comment and very unprofessional. I will not be coming back here, the hair cut is already over $100 and the fact she is doing this is just cheap and not professional at all.

She did a very good job and I still like my haircut. Itâs very easy for me to style my hair at home. The price was also reasonable. I recommend Jennifer as a haircut professional.

Vicky did an amazing job cutting, washing, and highlighting my daughterâs hair. The results were stunning, and all for a fraction of the cost compared to other salons. The highlights looked so natural and blended perfectly with her hair. Vicky also taught me how to take care of the highlights. We are so grateful to have this salon! I get so many compliments on my hair. I drive from Sacramento to Sunnyvale just to get my hair done from Juran and itâs worth it. Juran does excellent job. She achieves exactly the style you ask for and it helps if you bring in the picture!

I went in for a bang trim with JAY. I have been a regular customer at the salon but this has been the worst service. The service was incompetent. JAY could not understand English, and was not able to cut my bangs as I had desired. They were cut too short and looked uneven. He spent over 30 mins trying to fix the hair but to no avail.
On checkout, ANTHONY comes, and asks for $25 for bang trim. I make the payment. But when I say that on website it says $20, he says it is "$20 and up". But I dont find anything like this on the website. And I ask him to show me where on the website it says such. ANTHONY says its because of my "kind of bangs". I again ask why he charged me $25. I could see his frustration building. ANTHONY shouted at me in front of all the customers,
threw a $5 bill at me saying "I got no time for this" and walked off.
So, at this salon, service is incompetent, they will over charge you sneakily, and if you confront them, you may get the money back but the money may just get thrown back at you.

Jenny takes so much care to create the look I want and does it well. She is patient, kind, and easy to talk to. Plus the blowout is a must - she truly is an expert!

Expert Hair Do - Sunnyvale Sean Chen: I have been to this place for a few years. Last year, I came here again and realized my old hairdresser is gone and not sure how the new hairdresser will do to my hair. It turns out she is really experienced and even better than the previous one. I am not young anymore and have grown grey hair over the years. The hairdresser Mimi has done a great job on make the best of it. The price is not that expensive, so I really recommend Mimi and this place.
