4 /5 Shiyi Zhao: Update: 2024-04-03. We’ve continue coming to the clinic for the past 6 months. I can tell they’ve been trying to improve. For example, they will call me before each appointment for reminder. Horrible scheduling. Kept changing our appointments without notifying us! They did apologize. However, the time spent back and forth on the road and waiting are completely wasted. They don’t seem to care for the patients.

1 /5 Vijaya Meka: Horrible appointment. Is it only me or anyone had this situation. I was 2:58 minutes wait time and tried to take appointment for physical for basketball tryout for my child and they said they said it’s not possible today then again they said her physical is valid and just get the form and it will be done in 30 minutes. Took off from work and went now they’re saying we won’t do that. And now new thing is they don’t have appointments today or tomorrow. I don’t understand all this time waste , they don’t communicate properly, one person transfer to another person and asked to come. I don’t understand. I should have gotten some where else. My child already in basketball in middle school . Now it’s very important to go for tryouts. Without physical cannot go to tryouts . After upgrading to Stanford it is worse nightmare to get appointments from front desk .No idea Stanford has this low standard or Foster city pediatric center has changed like this. I am going to this hospital from past 14 years . Never had this worse situation. There is No negative rating or I would have given that.

5 /5 Marcela Medina: I am unsure why there are so many terrible reviews, we have been taking my son here since he was born, he just turned two. We have had nothing but a great experience. Dr is understanding when we choose to opt out from vaccines such as the flu, we feel great about asking questions, and everything is explained to us thoroughly. Scheduling our appointments has been smooth, emergency visits have also been easy to schedule and available right away.

John Cary: I had to visit two different Urgent Care locations. I visited the Redwood City office and then the San Bruno facility. In both places I received the same treatment though. I was met with courtesy, kindness as well as professionalism. This was from the receptionist, to the assistants and to the doctors! My questions were answered in a straight forward fashion with no condescension. I really appreciate that too. Thank You so much folks!

Christie Ko: We see Dr. Stabile and Dr. Clark in pediatrics and I love this location. Its usually quite quick and easy to get an appointment (even same day for things like ear pain, etc.), the check in process is seamless (we usually walk right in). The staff are awesome and the doctors and nurses are great with kids. I never feel hurried, and I never really have to wait. Great experience.

Crystal Lax: I was a patient in the CSU. Tony the nurse doctors were EXCELLENT far more better quality service than Kaiser Permanente SORRY abusive medical services. I went in for heart condition had surgery November 29, 2021. Surgery team doctors were Splendid. Everything went well with the heart abaltion surgery. This hospital and Stanford are neck and neck. The Social worker Ashley at Dignity help me in all sorts of manner. Nurse Laverne seen I needed a new wheelchair my old one wasnt safe. Ashley got me a new wheelchair make safe motel arrangements through life moves which is another agency. Ive tried and they attempt to deliver quality service to their clients. The dietary service were great. Housekeeping is poor need workers. Beside the lack of housekeeping. My overall take of service is five star. If I could give them a 10 I would. Ms. Crystal Lax

Oscar Ditchfield Caleb (klob): Mixed experiences here, but I *primarily* blame the Stanford Sheriffs for this (see my recent review about that). My first experience here was terrible; primarily likely caused by a misunderstanding and miscommunication from an ex [ not ex; using ex as short form here for "relationship anarchy" that *did not inform* the Stanford Sheriffs that we had dated for awhile, and that she literally has a copy of my house keys. Because of that, I got literally kidnapped by EMTs, and no one wanted to hear about why I was on campus. Shame on them. Yesterday, however, when I went to go retrieve my belongings from the Stanford Medical Center / Hospital / Emergency room, the staff there were *very helpful*, and I had a wonderful time - that is, until the Stanford Sheriffs showed up. (Ive got a stalker; hes likely the person that called into the Sheriffs). Regardless, the Stanford Medical Center is BEAUTIFUL. See attached pictures (of course, I asked if I could take pictures and was told it was just fine).

Charlie Hutchinson: I came for an annual physical (covered by insurance), received a bill for $300+ and was told that what was discussed in my exam wasnt covered... After reviewing the appointment notes its apparent that this is because I inquired about a specific lab, and because the doctor brought up an unprompted topic while checking to my lungs. Long story short, I was billed over $300 for a sum total of a 2 minute conversation that lead to two referrals, one of which the doctor brought up. While in the appointment I received no additional care outside of the doctor ordering one additional labs that I requested. I spent two months trying to dispute the charge and was told there was nothing anyone could do. I spoke with billing, insurance, my employer, and the doctor. Nothing... If you choose to come here for care I suggest you make it very clear to the doctor the second you walk in the door that you want to explicitly be told if something MIGHT be out of scope. Pretty upset about my personal situation for obvious reasons, but more importantly Im very disturbed for what this could do to someone vulnerable financially or with a language barrier, etc. From what I was told it seems there are also zero protections from fraud which feels ridiculous. No wonder people choose to avoid getting care. The doctor even had the audacity to tell me "its complicated..." I certainly wont be back to Sutter, and the only reason Im not leaving a one star review is because my in office experience on the day of the appointment was fine and my attending nurse was fantastic. I hope this review is helpful to someone and can prevent people being overcharged and then being threatened with creditors.

SAGE Veterinary Centers - Redwood City - Redwood City

sara c: We took our precious dog to another hospital yesterday to get an operation done for a pyometra (as suggested by another vet that did her general checkup) and were told that she was doing terribly and could crash at any moment. The doctor told us she would be unable to perform the surgery due to her severe anemia and told us she recommended euthanasia. We were mortified at this news and asked if there was anything else we could do for our poor, sweet girl. She replied the only other option would be a blood transfusion that could cost thousands of dollars but we disregarded that fact and focused on saving our dog. After making several calls asking if any emergency hospitals in our area could do this for her we found SAGE and they told us to bring her in to see what they could do after hearing the situation from the doctor. Everything went well and they were able to save our baby from the worst. We are so incredibly thankful to all the friendly and hardworking staff that were able to make this miracle possible for her. We 100% recommend SAGE to everyone, they can rest assured that their dog will be cared for and well taken care of here.

Zhenzhen: Dr. Rydfors is the best doctor I have ever met! He has great judgement and so much experience that he can spot potential pregnancy problems right away after listening carefully to my history. He has a very busy schedule (because he is such an amazing doctor), however, if you have urgent issues and explains to him, he tries his best to accommodate your request as soon as possible. Me and my family are so grateful for everything he has done for us!
