5 /5 Frances Peterson: St. Agnes is your regular parish church with a lot of class. Its a multi-racial parish but they make you feel welcome. They blew us away on the feast of Our Lady of Fatima with a beautiful candlelit procession, volunteers carrying the statue on a flower. Be decked bier, gorgeous music provided by the sisters from the monastery of the trinitarians of Mary, gorgeous flower arrangements. Great preaching in Spanish and English though we noticed the Korean community was not present at that mass, and the most marvelously friendly community that came to welcome us after the mass. There is parking in the lot but you should get there early. Of course. One can take the bus or Uber as well. If you get there early, then you can find out how the parish works from the friendly members and learn how to get your bulletin, your seat, find the restroom, etc. Remember to receive Holy Communion at a Catholic church. You must go through the RCIA program for 9 months from September to June. One has to be formally received into the Catholic church in order to receive the sacraments. It is respectful to do so.

1 /5 Edgar Chavez: Horrible experience delivering flowers here was sent away once at 10 am and keep in my I have other funerals to deliver to Returned at 1230 lady that works at the front reception jumps in front of my moving work van as I was going up to talk to her and entering the lot. Very dangerous could have got herself killed Horrible attitudes said the people didnt pay for her to accept flowers early and move there to where theyre supposed to go

1 /5 Stella Luna: Just wow… I’m sure there are a few health code violations in this building. Gave me a superior complex attitude and bad vibes here. Usually feel at ease in churches but this one is giving me the ick. Never ever coming back again!

3 /5 Issac Peroni: Ok church, just that it feels empty and also it feels old. Also for those who attend this church with their “little sweet angels” and “babies”. Make sure they don’t scream or cry while I try to hear the father consecrating the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Also please make sure that you silence your phone because I don’t want to hear your old funny sounding android ring while the father is doing the nicene creed. Overall 5.7/10

5 /5 Xavier K: St. Agnes Catholic Church (성 아그네스 성당) holds a special place in my heart, as it has been my spiritual home since 1979, until I relocated to Orange County in the mid-90s. This church played a pivotal role in my formative years, shaping my faith journey during high school and even throughout college summers. Upon returning from college, I actively participated in the young adult group, engaging in fellowship and various enriching activities. It was here that I became involved in the Legion of Mary, where I met my wife and spent nearly a decade serving. St. Agnes also holds significant milestones in my personal life, including my sacrament of matrimony and the baptism of my first son. Today, as I arrange a funeral mass for my father, who passed away yesterday on Divine Mercy Sunday, I am reminded of the profound history and community at St. Agnes. This church served as the foundation for the establishment of St. Agnes Korean Catholic Church, which boasts over half a century of history in Southern California. Over the years, our connection to St. Agnes has deepened, as we purchased a house adjacent to the church and developed it into a small church. Now, we have expanded further by acquiring two additional houses to create an Ignatius Cafe, patio, and Youth Minister Center. My memories of St. Agnes are filled with cherished moments spent with friends, and the aroma of coffee from the baristas at St. Ignatius Cafe always brings a sense of comfort. I am deeply grateful to all the priests, pioneers, catechists, and longstanding members, including the late Fr. Lawrence Lee, who have shaped the legacy of St. Agnes. They are not just heroes, but my brothers and sisters in Christ, and their dedication continues to inspire me.
