5 /5 Russ Lacuata: First Catholic Church in Long Beach. The “mother church” for all other Catholic churches in Long Beach built throughout the city to accommodate a growing population. It was granted Historic status, well-preserved and well-loved to this day.

1 /5 LONG BEACH 562: Church is big and beautiful BUT we baptized my grandson this mothers day weekend and it should of started at 10am and the father started at 9:45am even though I told him the god parents were not here yet but he counted on with the baptism. The god parents got there right as he was going to put the water on my grandson head. VERY unprofessional and to be honest it felt really rushed. I was told mass would be a hour or a little shorter and mass was only 15 minutes. We are very unhappy. We will file a complaint and will never attend this church again.

3 /5 Cheryl Johnson: Went on Mothers Day for first time and there was no holy water as you enter, no bulletin, priest was very political during homily reading some newspaper article that was anti-Musk and pro-Mr Microsoft. That was his Mothers Day message. The choir & music was awesome. I didnt go to church to hear about how wonderful Bill Gates is by the priest. Happy Mothers Day.
