Conner Evans This is the first church I really got plugged into since moving away from home for college. Im now a part of this church on a level that I didnt expect from any church. I feel like the community at this church are like family. I love that we always have free lunch on Sundays because it lets me hang out with such great people and talk about anything from God to random memes. I think that it is 100% worth your time! Edited to update review: Its been over 5 years since I wrote my last review and I am deeply grateful for all of the experiences I have had with this church family. The people and rhythms have changed a lot over the years, but I think that is to be expected in a church that is pursuing God in such a transient city. Committing to be a part of this community has been a joy. They draw me deeper into relationship with God and tangibly reflect the love that he has for me. All that to say, you should definitely check it out and see if it is the community that God wants you to meet you in. Worst case scenario, we still provide free lunches every Sunday! (which is actually extra awesome because it allows us to get to know you!)

Melissa Lyons Its been really great to plug in here in the past 5 months after moving to LA. The lead pastor, Devin, is caring and humble and genuinely wants to connect with everyone who walks in the door. The kids ministry volunteers are sweet and kind to my kids, too, which is huge. Paul Williams I was there for the 2022 Christmas service. Everyone was so friendly and they had amazing snacks and treats. I even saw a baked from scratch panettone that was the best I had ever eaten. The service was pure fun while presenting the amazing true story of Gods love for us through the Savior. The music was professional and low key at the same time.

I’m forever grateful to have stumbled upon this church after my fiancé at the time stumbled upon Pastor Daryl who did our premarital counseling. Pastor Daryl is a gift from God who’s words really touch in a way that I haven’t experienced from others. God has beautifully talented the worship team at Reconcile with various musicians who lead the church in joining along with heaven as we all worship King Jesus. Reconcile Church is a wonderful church located in Mid-Wilshire/Park La Brea truly serving God’s mission to reconcile people to each other and back to God. Definitely a great experience!

Edward Kim If you are looking to get plugged into a new and growing church and are seeking solid scripture-based teaching, I HIGHLY recommend that you check out Grace City LA. Ive been a regular attendee of Grace City LAs weekly bible studies for the past three months, and it still surprises me to see how much Ive learned and grown as a believer in this short period of time. Theres a clarity and boldness in the presentation of the Gospel here that Ive never really experienced elsewhere, and it makes a marked difference. Its truly remarkable. Also, since Grace City LA is a new church, theres plenty of room for you to get involved and serve the growing ministry. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and down-to-earth, and their excitement and enthusiasm for the new ministry is really contagious and refreshing to see. Lastly, the church is located at the western edge of downtown LA, which has recently been undergoing a lot of development and change, so I see a huge opportunity for Grace City LA to really make an impact on the immediate community--both the long-time residents and the newly arriving folks. Theres a big passion on the part of the leadership team for local outreach and evangelism, so Im really excited to see the transformation that Grace City LA will bring in the future.

I appreciate biblical and expository preaching, and thought it was amazing that Grace City LA does street evangelism open-air preaching as a church after each service. Ernesto Aguilar This a wonderful church. You can feel the warm community when you walk in. I go to the 7 AM Spanish services when I am in SoCal and they are wonderful. Both priests are knowledgable and great preachers. Some churches make you feel patronized, but this one doesnt. I always feel uplifted and educated after leaving mass. It is worth getting up at 5 AM for. Such a gem.

AYL Yi-Huh truly an amazing place that shows the strength of the faith of the Korean American community but with one huge issue- nearly a hundred toddlers and babies that share the same large echoing hall for worship service. we could never get into the sermon as babies are crying and screaming and the pastor speaks very loudly to drown out the baby noises with the speakers blasting and ringing in our ears.

May Alomari, Pharm.D. Great church. Just walking to it, I felt unsafe since 2 bull-dogs were not on a leash, so they scared me to death. African American 7 ft man, was refusing to watch his dogs. It created a scary event for me, because I am deathly allergic to all dogs, and he was really rude to me calling me bad names.

Frances Peterson St. Agnes is your regular parish church with a lot of class. Its a multi-racial parish but they make you feel welcome. They blew us away on the feast of Our Lady of Fatima with a beautiful candlelit procession, volunteers carrying the statue on a flower. Be decked bier, gorgeous music provided by the sisters from the monastery of the trinitarians of Mary, gorgeous flower arrangements. Great preaching in Spanish and English though we noticed the Korean community was not present at that mass, and the most marvelously friendly community that came to welcome us after the mass. There is parking in the lot but you should get there early. Of course. One can take the bus or Uber as well. If you get there early, then you can find out how the parish works from the friendly members and learn how to get your bulletin, your seat, find the restroom, etc. Remember to receive Holy Communion at a Catholic church. You must go through the RCIA program for 9 months from September to June. One has to be formally received into the Catholic church in order to receive the sacraments. It is respectful to do so.

Very dangerous could have got herself killed Horrible attitudes said the people didnt pay for her to accept flowers early and move there to where theyre supposed to go
