Shes really good at listening to your feedback as well as exchanging ideas for where you can take your hair. Ive learned so much about my hair through her care and see so many possibilities for where I can take my hair journey with her. I highly recommend you check out Lisette for your hair cut and/or hair coloring. Shes the one.

I am very particular about my hair and usually, I leave a Salon feeling like I wont know the outcome until I get home. This time. I loved everything about it. I left feeling like it made me look younger and better looking than ever before. Hats off to Anthony (no pun intended) for his expertise, experience and knowledge of cutting and coloring hair. I have never felt better .

5 /5 Miss Mari: I wish I could give more than 5 stars for Lisette! She has been my stylist for the last two years, and followed to her new location at Spunk. The salon is super cute and gives a warm and cozy vibe. Lisette has given me the confidence to try creative colors, and really bring my hair back to life! Lisette is very respectful, provides a safe and calming space, and is genuine with the experience she provides. Ty Lisette for being awesome!

I came in to Spunk for the very first time with a challenge case - overprocessed, bleach-damaged, grown-out wavy hair that had been through several bad haircuts. I happened to be visiting SF and decided to see if I could find a better place than my hometown has to offer and I’m SO glad I did! Wyatt was kind enough to squeeze me in rather last minute and absolutely worked a miracle on my hair and got it back into shape. Not everyone can manage wavy/curly hair properly and they totally dominated my hair into behaving! :) I will definitely be back on my next trip! Thank you!!!

5 /5 Yvette: I have been commuting over an hour to see Lisette and I can assure you that it is worth driving over that Bay Bridge. Spunk Salon, is easy to locate and at a wonderful location in the Castro. When you enter you don’t feel overwhelmed the space is very welcoming and the light that comes through the windows complement and brighten it up. Now back to Lisette, she always has a genuine smile on her face and welcomes you. Once I sit in that chair I have no hesitation to ask her what she thinks will suit me when I don’t even know where to start. I love the way Lisette livens up my hair by cutting and shaping my bangs, they can be shorter than what I am used to and I look good! I must also point out the biggest ego boost is getting compliments on your hair from people younger than you.

Kona Yee: Maisonry is one of THE BEST salons in San Francisco and I’ve tried a lot!! All the stylists are so sweet, they listen to what you want, and they are sooo knowledgeable about hair health. One of the main reasons I switched salons and decided to come here was because I wanted my hair to get healthy and Charlene did the most amazing job making that my priority. My hair is the healthiest it’s ever been and I can’t recommend Charlene enough. She can do it all but I don’t think I’ve met anyone else that can do a liver in brunette better!! I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a super cute, quality, hair color.

During our appointment, upon seeing the condition of my hair firsthand, she advised against proceeding with highlights until my hair regained its health. She even dusted my split ends while I was there and refused to let me pay her. I deeply appreciate individuals like Cirrus, who prioritize long-term relationships over short-term benefits. I have the color I’ve been wanting for so long now. Walked out of there feeling like a new person. I live in Marin and it’s more than worthwhile to go to the city to get my hair done at Head & Soul! I had the pleasure of having Alx, the salon owner, work on my hair. She is truly a gem, and considers all aspects of your unique hair texture/style before she begins. She starts her session with a full consultation of how she will tackle this hair experience with you, mastering the art of communicating what you want vs. need, and what your hair can handle. I have very fine hair so it was nice to hear her incorporating hair breakage concerns in her consultation, while balancing that with your desired end result. The products they use are top-notch and focus on low toxicity, which was an important factor for me when selecting the right salon. I will definitely be back at Princple Salon!

SO S: Pros: Seems like a lot of tech bros come here to get their haircut and they seem happy with the cut and price. If you are a woman with a basic cut and thin hair I would come here. However: Me thick wavy shoulder lengenth hair: My experience: I made an appointment because i was sick of overpaying for bad cuts in overpriced salons in SF. I dont need to be told Im fabulous I need a good cut. I wondered, what kind of haircut I could get for 40 bucks? 1.Appointments seem to mean nothing you just line up. 2. IMO she was not done with my cut but had another appointment so politely out I went. For example: the woman I scheduled an appointment with took the inch off, however ran out of time to take the thickness out of my hair, and did not have time to shape it. (or she didnt know how) not sure which. So I still need another haircut. 4. On the positive I usually pay $200 for a similar incomplete cut so I was happier leaving knowing I only blew >$40 plus tip. 5. She was trying to do her best, but seems the salon is designed in a factory style. 6. The woman before me had a bob and it looked really good. Once again if I had thin fine hair and a basic cut I would go back!!! for my thick hair Im not sure. Over all an okay experience.
