5 /5 Rose: Ive been a patient at the clinic for about a year now. The staff has always been so kind and helpful! If you have an issue with anything involving your care, the staff will bend over backwards to make sure youre taken care of. The facility itself is clean and very professional. The one thing I dont like (not against the staff at all) is that theres no ob/gyn providers in the clinic and the VA will only provide one kind of birth control to all female veterans. As in, one formulation of the birth control pill. No other kinds of birth control pills, no IUDs, no patches, no nuva rings, no birth control shots. The VA Healthcare system isnt set up to serve female veterans, period.

1 /5 Donald Ricker: Today I was treated badly by the Security Guard at the VA Sonora. I didn’t have a second to tell him I had an appointment before he he yelled, “you can’t come in!”. That guy needs some manners when talking to a Veteran. I got in my car a drive away. So much for thank you for your service. I was spit on when I came back, I don’t need to be spit on again.

2 /5 Cindy Tavares: I called in because myhealthevet was experiencing technical difficulties. I needed to ask for my doctor to refill a non narcotic non habit forming medication. The receptionist Brittany (I believe that was her name) was abhorrent. Dismissive, and seemed put out and inconvenienced. She also talked to me like I was a child and she was playing mommy. I also have perfection diction but her brain wasn’t able to comprehend logical talk. It was too fast for her liking. I can foresee her being a HUGE problem for veterans who are calling in crisis.
