1 /5 Kathleen Doughty: I would give him 0 stars if I could. He woefully mistreated my mother, talked down to her & was demeaning to her. But worst of all, he misdiagnosed her. This set in motion events which led to her premature death. I will never forgive him for this.

5 /5 Ted Fletcher: I think Dr Sigmund is more than competent. Ive read reviews that state otherwise, but he has always treated me fairly, been kind and listened. He does use his laptop to know your history rather than rely on his memory which I think is great! Id much rather a Dr look at his or her notes to ensure accuracy than rely on memory. His office staff has also always been friendly and easy to deal with. My wait times have been similar to other Drs I see.

1 /5 Kitty Katz: I wasnt going to write a review. I dont like to spread negativity. However, I normally see Dr. King, who is amazing, but Dr. Sigmund is no longer allowing me to return to his practice. He is a horrible doctor and human. Against my better judgment, I made an appointment with Dr. Sigmund as my regular doctor was booked for another 2 weeks. I told the medical assistant upon entering all of my issues. She must have only wrote one in the computer. When Dr. Sigmund came into the room. He asked me why I was there. When I started to tell him everything, he wanted to go back to just one issue. He said, Well I only have this one issue in the computer so we need to talk about that. I couldn’t believe my ears. I said, but I am a human not just what is in the computer, so shouldn’t you listen to what my needs are? Plus, couldn’t all the issues have to do with one another? At that he smirked and made me feel like I didn’t know anything. I could tell he just wanted me gone. He asked what medications I was taking. I told him honestly because of my fears I stopped taking them a couple weeks ago to see if that was the issue. Then, He erased all of my medications from the computer. That was not what I expected as some of those medications I needed to continue, I was just letting him know, not expecting such harsh action. He wouldn’t listen to my very real health fears and concerns. I felt belittled and like my concerns didn’t matter. He made some referrals for blood work and an xray, but did not explain to me what they were for, it was almost like he did it just to get me out of there. I left feeling vulnerable, not believed, and I was sobbing still concerned about my health. Never in my life have I been so disrespected by a doctor. Then, I called back today to make an appointment with my regular doctor only to find out he cut me off. He decided I am no longer welcome in his practice. I suffer from anxiety and finding a new doctor does not help that, now, thanks to his inability to be professional, this is something I must do. Do not go to him. he will belittle you and make you feel stupid.

1 /5 Sharon moore: Just would like to say Dr Sigmund should really retire. My husband several months ago was admitted to the hospital after falling. Dr Sigmund had been his Dr for approximately 8 months. At the hospital he said that he had only been seeing him for about 2 months. I said no, you have been seeing him for about 8 months, in fact, we had been seeing him for a 6 month monitoring before him having buriatric surgery and he had been going to him for 5 months before that with only two months before he was to have the surgery. He was in the hospital at which time he got sepsis and C-diff and both of these the RN had to alert him that he might need to check for these. He never discovered why he passed out and fell but finally called in 3 different specialists because he didnt know what was wrong with him, which they did find out and treated him, but by this time he was unable to walk and had to be rehabed in West Covina. The biggest problem was he confined him to bed and because my husband is a large man, you do not do that. He was walking before he came to the hospital but is now 3 months later still in a wheelchair and walker. He lost 100 pounds in 4 weeks because he was so ill and became so nutritionally unsound and week that at the rehab center they were trying to feed him anything and giving him IV food also. We almost lost him. When he got back, he got C-diff again and was admitted for IV antibiotics overnight and Dr Sigmund got angry with him and was very rude with him about not bringing in a list of his meds from the hospital when came in for his recheck in 3 days. My daughters fiancé was upset with him for talking down to him and told him we were not told to bring a list in and he was a very inept Doctor. Dr Sigmund got mad and threw my husbands files and the pen on the counter and said he didnt have to take that and he was done with us! It was very child like. We found another Doctor and are extremely happy and she seems very knowledgeable. Just for the records, without the RNs at Twin Cities DOU I do believe we would have lost my husband, they were wonderful and totally on board and monitored him constantly.
