I moved out of state and missed him so much for a little over 3 years. Just visited SB to primarily get a GOOD and restorative haircut and Michael knocked it out the park as usual. Highly recommend Michael for a good haircut while having great conversation at the same time. Ill miss you until I get back again!

Cut and color - he is simply fantastic, consistent, & creative. Salon U has a relaxing, calm, and artistic vibe that - thankfully- lacks that stuffy ambiance so often one must endure at other salons. Love this place, and will never stray! I highly recommend.

Hazelynn Khoo: Sammi was amazing! Super easy to set up an appointment over text. It was my first time ever coloring my hair and she did an awesome job. She made sure she understood my vision before starting. She started by dry cutting my hair with a straight razor to get a feathery look instead of harsh layers. She then did a balayage on my entire head. It was a pretty long process but she was really friendly and we chatted the entire time. She didnt try to force any products on me, but did recommend a few products I could get at the drugstore for upkeep. I would definitely recommend her to anyone for a cut and color!

I’ve watched SB salon go from the half of the duplex, to the beautifully expanded space it is today. Brianna knows exactly what she’s doing and puts me at ease that my hair will always turn out how I imagine. As someone who grew up with a mother who is hairstylist, it was scary to trust anyone else so my hair. I fully trust Brianna to deliver amazing color and cut for me every time. Not just Brianna though, her team is wonderful as well and is a testament to how high of a standard Brianna sets for her business.

Norma gave me the cutest French bob, and I am beyond thrilled with the results – I truly love it and feel like I’ve gained so much confidence. I also have thinning hair, and Joel was incredibly helpful, offering great tips on managing my fine, thin hair and recommending some wonderful products to try. If you’re looking for an exceptional salon in SB, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

The ladies are so welcoming and always do exceptional work, whether its coloring or extensions. They offer high quality products and work with you to understand and help you achieve your hair goals - mine being blonde coloring, long length, and more volume, for example. I highly recommend the salon, Selena, and Elyse!
