5 /5 Hazelynn Khoo: Sammi was amazing! Super easy to set up an appointment over text. It was my first time ever coloring my hair and she did an awesome job. She made sure she understood my vision before starting. She started by dry cutting my hair with a straight razor to get a feathery look instead of harsh layers. She then did a balayage on my entire head. It was a pretty long process but she was really friendly and we chatted the entire time. She didnt try to force any products on me, but did recommend a few products I could get at the drugstore for upkeep. I would definitely recommend her to anyone for a cut and color!

She really understands the science as related to different products, their use, and the type of hair being considered for the product. I have dirty dishwater and graying hair which has become difficult to manage. My color is a deep tone of blonde which highlights my skin tone well. I do receive many compliments on the color of my hair, and also the flattering cut. In the last few years, Ive never left the salon disappointed. This week, I had a last minute need to travel for work and canceled my appointment with less than 24 hour notice. The salon was very gracious and accomodating in getting me in! I appreciate the crew at 1329 and wouldnt hesitate to recommend any of the stylists.

As a hairstylist myself and not knowing anybody I could trust with my hair Im so glad I found her and she knows exactly what shes doing. Im super picky when it comes to my hair and Im happy to say i found someone i trust.

Norma gave me the cutest French bob, and I am beyond thrilled with the results – I truly love it and feel like I’ve gained so much confidence. I also have thinning hair, and Joel was incredibly helpful, offering great tips on managing my fine, thin hair and recommending some wonderful products to try. If you’re looking for an exceptional salon in SB, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

Sarah Robin: Ive been seeing Selena for hair coloring services for years and the experience has only gotten better since she and Elyse opened Luce. Its a cute salon is clean and thoughtfully styled. The ladies are so welcoming and always do exceptional work, whether its coloring or extensions. They offer high quality products and work with you to understand and help you achieve your hair goals - mine being blonde coloring, long length, and more volume, for example. I highly recommend the salon, Selena, and Elyse!

That price would be high in a salon with a bookings and appointments, this is a wait in line service in a just about fit for purpose backstreet room, I did not expect that price, and don’t feel good about any of it.
