I especially love when I get compliments on my hair when I leave the salon. The staff is so friendly and they are very professional. They do a great job of getting me in when I need a last minute cut as well. I highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for a great stylist!

I have thick, wavy hair that really wants to curl but I didn’t know how to style it to get it to do so. Alyssa was a magician and upon request styled my hair naturally to embrace the curls I didn’t even realize I had! As for the haircut, I wanted one that would embrace a low-maintenance styling and Alyssa did just that. I love how she layered hair my hair and think this will be my go-to haircut from here on out. As an icing on the cake, Alyssa is so incredibly sweet and lovely to talk to!

Amyra: Fariba did an amazing job! The salon took me in on a Monday (when most salons in the area are closed) on a same day appointment after an hour from when I called. I went from having hair half way down my back to collar length. It was a huge change but she made me feel comfortable. She even recommended a great color for toner color and did a beautiful styling job. The appointment took about 1.5 hours. Would highly recommend!

Nilab majidi: I recently visited this salon and had a disappointing experience. The hairstylist who was assigned to me was Sylvia, she was unfriendly from the start. During the appointment, I received an important phone call and politely asked her if she could turn off the blow dryer for a moment so I could hear. Instead of accommodating my request, she rudely told me to "use my other ear" because she was blow drying one side of my hair. When I explained again that the call was urgent and asked her to stop the dryer for just a minute, she finally turned it off but walked away with visible annoyance. After the call, she resumed blow drying but didn’t even finish the job properly, my hair was still frizzy, and the roots were damp. She then told me I was “done,” leaving me feeling like she rushed through the service with no care for quality. I ended up speaking to the receptionist, who thankfully arranged for another stylist to fix my hair, but the whole experience left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I wouldn’t recommend this salon if you’re expecting professionalism and courtesy from their staff.

Leighton Jones: Wonderful experience. The salon has a cool location that is easy to get to no matter where you live in San Diego. My stylist was Jessie—so knowledgeable in her art and kindhearted. This was my first experience not only in this salon but also in vegan, nontoxic salon products. I will never go back. As a natural blonde, that unfortunately gets more brunette with age, I struggle with what bleach and heat do to my hair. These products let you go blonde but without the damage (crunchy texture and split ends). There is no strong odor during the process and it also doesn’t require heat processing which is great as I often struggle with eczema. I would recommend this salon to anyone, and already have! Happy to answer any questions in the comments. Overall….Come here for your next salon visit! Update 3/2023: been a client now for over 2 years. Won’t go anywhere else. This past visit Jessie was able to continue to amaze me with my color and cut. I have premature white hair—she can blend them in like nothing I’ve ever seen. Easily can go 4-5 months without touch ups or color. Amazing!!

I messed up my hair by trying to cut it myself so I had to find a place who could correct my mistake. Jeanette was fabulous! Not only did she give me a perfect Bob she was also knowledgeable about great places to eat and things to do in SD. I will see her again in the future.
