Great playground area that is well designed and clean, large picnic tables and benches, and lots of open space for kids and pets to run around. Close to the walking trail by the water as well. Parking lot is small, but plenty of street parking. Clean restrooms.

5 /5 Maria G. Hernandez: I love this park. Aside from having water features in the summer you can make a day of it. Bring the family and a picnic lunch amd enjoy the sunshine and breeze. Not much shade so bring your own. Then take a walk or a bike on the nearby trail covering Seal Point Park and along the water while watching the planes come into SFO. On a nice day you can see all the way to SF, The Bay Bridge, Oakland, Alameda, Hayward and the San Mateo Bridge.

Angel Hou: Nice place for the whole family, especially for the kids! There are two parking lots on the left and right of the entrance with full capacity after 12:00 at weekend. Two playgrounds for kids, one is for toddlers, the other is for the elder. Bathroom is next to the parking lot that is close to the playground. You may BBQ here with some shades. You can also practice your balance on the surface of the water, bring your paddle board or kayak to relax here. But please throw the rubbish in the trash can to keep the environment as it was. Remember to bring a jacket in the afternoon.

alex eecs: One of my favorite museums Ive ever been to. All the exhibits are fascinating, with many hands on interactive portions. Want to climb into a mud wagon and imagine the experience of traveling for 9 hours along a bumpy road? Send a telegram? Drive a streetcar? Or try your hand at an 1800s gambling game? This place has it all. I loved learning about the history of the place I live, where the highways and public transit systems I use daily came from. Or seeing the evolution California license plates, from porcelain plates to how we saved steel during the war. Ive only seen one section so far out of a dozen since Im spending so much time at each exhibit. Admission is cheap, and the building looks beautiful. If you havent been I highly recommend this museum.

Pulgas Water Temple - Redwood City

Jeffery Hyde: This Beaux Arts temple is in a small, park-like setting. There are lots of old growth oaks, redwoods, and flowering bushes. Do make sure you stay on the trails, though, because theres a good amount of poison oak as well...theres a good amount of parking, only on weekdays, Porta potties for restrooms, and dogs are not allowed. The grounds are very well maintained.

Martin & Melissa Lacher: The playground is fine but the beach part is terrible. Its full of geese excrements and the water does not look safe at all, even on the bank.
