Jeffery Hyde: This Beaux Arts temple is in a small, park-like setting. There are lots of old growth oaks, redwoods, and flowering bushes. Do make sure you stay on the trails, though, because theres a good amount of poison oak as well...theres a good amount of parking, only on weekdays, Porta potties for restrooms, and dogs are not allowed. The grounds are very well maintained.
Coy Tran: Big wide open well maintained park with some picnic tables and filled with lots of geese. Walking track around which is 0.5 miles. 2 gender restrooms available.
Martin & Melissa Lacher: The playground is fine but the beach part is terrible. Its full of geese excrements and the water does not look safe at all, even on the bank.
Judy Margaret Chen: It’s a small park with nice views up the hill. There are many benches, picnic tables, spacious area and 2 playground next to each other for children of different ages.
Bruno Storchi Bergmann: Really nice park with great structure for the kids. Many kids are using the park and it’s a fun place to take the kids so that they can have the best time!
Jeff Meyer: Came here for a birdwatching tour and highly recommend the trails around this spot.
There’s quite a contrast with the condos, industrial yards, Hwy 101 and this restored wetland that borders them.
There are several informative placards along the way.
We mostly saw smaller waterfowl like buffleheads, but did catch a few egrets and herons.
Breonna Preston: Cute little park with monkey bars and swings and a play area for both bigger and a separate area for little kids.
Theres restrooms that are clean with soap and water but no where to really dry hands as the air dryer is genuinely trash haha.
The flowers are blooming beautiful this time of year as well. In a quiet neighborhood.
