Parkside Aquatic Park - San Mateo (CA)

4 /5 Angel Hou: Nice place for the whole family, especially for the kids! There are two parking lots on the left and right of the entrance with full capacity after 12:00 at weekend. Two playgrounds for kids, one is for toddlers, the other is for the elder. Bathroom is next to the parking lot that is close to the playground. You may BBQ here with some shades. You can also practice your balance on the surface of the water, bring your paddle board or kayak to relax here. But please throw the rubbish in the trash can to keep the environment as it was. Remember to bring a jacket in the afternoon.

3 /5 Bing Jon: For such a blessed area it was a shame both playgrounds are so old they had caution tape around parts them lacking the ability for full use by small and big kids. But it is a gem for picnic or bbq or small chillout spot. Did have restrooms with soap! If there is a gofundme for new equipment please share as I am sure 5 bucks per person could get it upgraded quickly.

4 /5 alex mill: afternoons are very busy here on weekends. smoke and unclean water wont keep the families from coming here. but its a nice little beach and park area. easy access to the water. motor boats need a permit to launch here.

5 /5 Davis Dulnuan: Nice neighborhood spot to bring my toddler to run around on the grass or sand. The playground was fun for him as well and quite empty the days we went during the weekday. They have BBQ pits and tables also with a nice view of the bay. The whole place was clean and well maintained.
