She knows exactly what to do with curly hair. The massage with my shampoo is magical! Thank you for helping me look and feel beautiful!
Sector7 Salon - Sacramento Jocelyn Simlick: First off, this place is soo cute with the nerdy/comic book/sci-fi theme. It’s also large and open which I really enjoyed. It gives plenty of space for each artist to do their thing and provides plenty ventilation for any hair product fumes.
Secondly, Shannon did my hair and she did an AMAZING life-changing transformation. She put all her knowledge and talent into the long process and I couldn’t be more pleased with the final result. Additionally, she was so friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable in her chair. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much Shannon and Sector 7!!
Mahogany & Rose Hair Studio - Sacramento Lizzy Paris: I have been in this space so many times for Out the Way on J, which is a monthly intimate showcase of poetry, hip-hop & r&b so I was ecstatic to come to the salon in the daytime and fully experience it as a hair client hehe. & WHAT AN EXPERIENCE IT WAS CHILEEEE! 10 out of 10. 1,000 out of 10, even.
The music was setting such a wonderfully calm mood that the plants further expressed. I came in because the shape of my fro as it was growing back was not fit for my face and was just BLAH but my girl Camille took me from blahhh to BLAM! (see photos below) Im in love with the shape of my hair now and my curls are POPPIN! More than anything else Im equipped with the knowledge to keep my hair thriving and hydrated after my service!
Alchemy Salon & Spa - Sacramento Meyes Johnson: Leah is an amazing professional. Her attention to detail is something I have never experienced before. This was my 2nd visit after my hair was fried. She is honest, meticulous, fun to talk to, and has a huge happy vibe. I love that she doesnt try to push products and truly takes pride in her craft. I am so happy I came here. I have been to very good salons here in Sacramento, nothing compares to Leah. Shes outstanding.

Luxe Hair Lounge & Day Spa - Sacramento Rosemary Kloh: Luxe hair salon has a way of making you feel luxurious. Seriously, I feel so good after I get my hair done here. Abigail is my go to, she is super easy to talk to, talented, clear on expectations, she read me well and gave me great suggestions. For example, I got bangs and I couldn’t figure out how to style them and she took the time to show me how I can do it and now I can make my bangs look great any day. My hair journey has been super fun and it’s thanks to her.
RKS SALON - Sacramento Wealth Builders Consultants: Might be a great salon. Something I find funny is they rely on tips.
I delivered many items to this location and the girl tipped 3.50 on a large order.
They could do better. Not cool. Karma!!
Sacramento hair loft - Sacramento Amanda: Georgia did the most amazing job on my hair!!!!! She is amazing at what she does! She is easy to talk to, and made me feel super comfortable! Will definitely be my hair stylist moving forward!!! Before and after pictures speak for themselves!!! Book with her!!!!!!!
Salon Paisley - Sacramento Sammantha Mays: I got my haircut in the beginning of January by Karly and had a fantastic experience. I haven’t gotten a professional haircut in a while and Karly didn’t disappoint. She provided a thorough consultation and a great cut, and was super friendly and helpful the whole time. The salon itself was really beautiful and had a positive atmosphere! I like that a wash was provided and great quality products were used. My haircut is growing out great and when the time comes I’ll be coming back!
Mane and Soul Salon - Sacramento Karen: I’ve been seeing Cayla for all my colorful hair needs for over 3 years. With her extensive knowledge and expertise, she skillfully executes whatever I envision for my hair. I don’t live in Sacramento anymore, but I will travel in just to work with her! Would highly recommend Cayla and any of the others at Mane and Soul. They are a wonderful and welcoming group of talented individuals.
DEEDA COTERIE - Sacramento Trish P: Forgot to post a review. Nice place. Asked for a balayage and showed the second pic of what I was thinking (a cut and dye from her IG that she did.) The first pic is me with what looks like highlights. I believe I was there for about 4-5 hours - one reason it took forever; never a good thing when your stylist says “uh oh” yeah, she made the color a little too bright and had to redo. Razor cut took a century long and Looks the same as what scissors would do. On top of the toner mess-up, let got with some pretty wet hair because there was another client waiting. I knew the price was going to be pretty steep but she could have at least gave a discount for the mess up. Will not be back. Price tag 200+ and tip. I took this photo of my hair when I got home and after I dried it. Realized I didn’t care for it. I asked a few people if they thought my hair was balayage or highlights and every person said highlights. The color was supposed to be subtle light brown not copper.
