4 /5 Rachel: It’s unfortunate that North Country Prenatal Services had to mesh into the Redwood Community Health Center. I have been receiving extended postpartum support from NCPS staff due to having postpartum difficulties. I’d missed a call about scheduling my next phone appointment to occur in 2-3 weeks, and attempted to call back. The lady at the front desk put me on hold whereby they hung up on me. I called back, and was told I had the wrong number, followed by them checking my mychart that showed they are the right office, she proceeded to tell me the person managing my care was booked, and I asked if I could speak with the person who had called me about scheduling. She feigned friendliness saying she’d put me on a brief hold to transfer me, and hung up. This never ever happened at NCPS, and given the postpartum difficulties I have been having this treatment made me feel so much worse. Thankfully it was someone else on my third call who got me to the right staff member, and there was availability after all to schedule my appointment.
