    Mak KALBERER: I have gone to many stylist over the years, found Ngoc almost by accident and so happy that I did. Just this year she was out for several months and I had to go to someone else who was highly recommended, but to be honest, she does a much better job than this expensive recommendation in the City. Maybe my hair is a little trickier because it’s kind of curly, but not extremely. Not the cheapest haircut but definitely after several weeks after the haircut growing out I’m always grateful that I went to Ngoc! and 18/8

    LC Nichols: One star for a full refund. I asked for a feather layer with bang chin length haircut. What I got for $168 (not including tip) was a box shape botched layer haircut. Box shape is being nice, picture a mullet. The right side layers are shorter, creating a hole. Not sure why but Monica and another hair cutter asked me which side I part??? What? Layers are even and blended! There must be a lot of mercury in the water in the bay area. Monica offered to recut. I think I will end up with a pixie. I asked another hair cutter and she said she will have to cut a lot off! She told me to wait for my hair to grow out. I do not recommend this salon. Save your money. $168 is too much to flush down the toilet. My hair cut by Monica was student level and there was no teacher to correct her botched cut.

    Maria McLennan: I have been going to Karla at Drybar for a couple years-first at the Santana Row location, now at Palo Alto. I purchased a Barfly membership because I go to Drybar twice a month. Karla always does an excellent job-strangers often stop me to compliment my hair and ask where I get it done. She is professional, personable and very capable as the manager too. I can’t recommend her and Drybar enough! On one occasion when Karla wasn’t available, Erika did my hair. She was very receptive to my specific instructions and requests, and I was very happy with the job she did too.

    Cathy M: I have been Rita’s client for 20+ years and I cannot imagine going to anyone else for hair color, hair style or cut. Rita is great in keeping my looks up to date and chic. I haven’t found anyone who gives me the right layers I wanted until I met her. For color, I love the subtle highlights I get. I always come out of the salon looking classy and chic. She is not only my stylist, she became a friend too. She cares and I would not go to anyone else who sees me as just a client. She goes above and beyond in everything she does. She is a keeper!! Once you have her style you, you’ll be her client forever!! I definitely recommend her.

    Koko Ko: I had a great experience at La Belle hair salon. Oksana carefully listened to what I wanted and gave me the perfect haircut, the best i had in years! She is a super skillful professional and did an amazing job! The highlights are absolutely stunning—subtle yet vibrant, and they blend so naturally with my hair. I’ve received so many compliments already! The attention to detail and the care Oksana took to ensure I was happy with the results were exceptional. I’ll definitely be coming back.

    Tim Waymouth: This place rocks!! Tracy was my hair stylist and she reminds me of my asian aunties (but nicer). As a man with mid length hair getting a good cut is a struggle and she nailed it. The amazing service combined with the competitive pricing truly makes this salon one of a kind. I will definitely be going back!!

    Ali Peterson: I love Lynn! She’s the only person who’s ever been able to achieve the hair color I was looking for. And trust me, I tried multiple people. I was actually kind of scared to try another person after being burned so many times. Her balayage is perfect and grows out beautifully. Her prices are extremely reasonably too. She’s also just a lovely person you won’t mind spending hours in a chair with. First photo is when I originally had it done, second is grown out. She also sells Olaplex at a great price and has fantastic recommendations for products. She gave me a free bottle of tinted conditioner to try, and I love it. I use it regularly now.
