Casual Chic Salon - Palo Alto Kaui DeMarzo: Great place. Owner Dri is super talented and polite. Love this place. Loysl customer for over five years and counting! My husband switched from his stylist if 20+ years to Dri. My sons all go to him. He has cut my hair when it was long (down to the middle of my back) and short (clippers used). Hes an artist no doubt. I am so happy that I am his client. Never changing from Dri. Hes a neighborhood gem for sure. (Updated 8/2023)

Hair International - Palo Alto Erika Farmer: I’ve been going here for haircuts for years. It took a little bit to find the best stylist for me, but Marie is amazing! She listens to what I want and makes super helpful suggestions, and she remembers my preferences. All of this good service and good haircuts plus the very reasonable prices keep me coming back.
The Color Room - Santa Barbara Camille CRESS: Very bad experience, disastrous hair color and cut. (didnt listen to what I wanted, or really consider options... died my hair black , not what I asked for!!! cut terrible, asked for layers, got bad chunks.

Salon Patine - Santa Barbara Sherrie Mondello: I recently had a wonderful experience at Salon Pantine in Santa Barbara. Blair, the owner, has created a salon where integrity and customer satisfaction are top priorities. I worked with Brie, a talented and creative colorist, who took the time to ensure my color was absolutely perfect. She worked with great care to protect my super fine hair, using techniques that prioritized its health. I was so happy with the result that I ended up hugging Blair! I’ve now found my forever colorist in Brie. Highly recommend!
Underground Hair Artists - Santa Barbara Allyn Aesthetics: As a salon owner I am extra choosy when it comes to trusting someone with my hair. I visit Santa Barbara all the time but its been years since I had a trusted stylist here. Sima is an absolute genius and if I could Id whisk her back to Nashville with me! She so expertly developed a plan for both cut and color that she knew would fit my style, face shape, lifestyle, and profession and I couldnt be happier. Theres nothing like the confidence that comes from great hair and I am so thankful to have found this gem. I will be back as soon as I can!
Studio S Salon - Santa Barbara Marianna Venieri: I had a really great experience! Walked in without an appointment, and got one with Vanessa (upstairs) - and what can I say, she was amazing!
I went from long to a bob, but with fine hair it takes a really good stylist to make it right, and she did wonders! Im super happy with the result, after a detailed consultation, had a wonderful time and she gave me amazing tips for what styling products suit my hair!
Definitely recommend her and the salon, very good vibe, very friendly people, and Vanessa is a really skilled hair stylist.
The Victorian Blow Dry Bar - Santa Barbara Lauren C: Jamie helped the bride and her bridesmaids style our hair for a wedding! She was incredibly sweet and attentive during my appointment. She is such a talented hairstylist! I shared my concerns about my thin hair and widows peak, and she addressed each one with care. I never thought it was possible to make my thin hair look so full but she made it possible! I also loved how she styled my bangs to perfectly complement my face. The curls and volume held up beautifully from morning till night. I couldn’t be happier with the results! Absolutely 10/10 work!
IV Hair Co. - Santa Barbara Megan Sheehan: Amazing experience! Would give more stars if I could! My first time meeting Katherine was so fun and welcoming. It felt like I was with someone I have known for years. The one on one setting was not awkward at all and she was extremely sweet and inclusive to my boyfriend who tagged along. My hair feels so healthy and she gave helpful tips throughout the appointment. My boyfriend was having a blast and he wasn’t even getting his hair done! Can’t wait to come back and get my hair done again, highly recommend!
