5 /5 Derrick L: With four active boys and as a retired RN from NIHD, I am very familiar with the many many quality services that this facility provides. The services have expanded a lot too over the years which gives locals better options that don’t involve having to drive hours north or south for appointments. Cardiology? Check. Urology, check. Telehealth services? Check. Orthopedics? Yep and a lot of people don’t realize how great and state of the art NIHDs Ortho, General, GYN, etc surgical services are. I’ve driven hours from out of town for ortho specifically. Need to deliver a baby? This is the only place for hundreds of miles set up for that. It was a great place to work but an even better place to receive care. I could go on and on with positive experiences and nice things to say about NIHDs quality of care and clinicians. Well done NIHD!
