Some of the greatest things every done were done by people in the shadows that you will never know; people who have dedicated their lives to improving the lives of others. The accute care nurses on 24 hour shifts took excellent care of my father for the 9 days he had to stay after complications from ruptured appendix and the infections it caused. They have a great staff. The nurses changed often after the first 3 days so trying to get to know and remember names is the only downside and makes it harder to acknowledge by name. Dr. Shaw, Dr. Chilean (surgeon) were hands on, visiting him daily. He would not be alive if not for emergency night time surgery by Dr. Jerry Chilian. He came by daily to oversee care and answer questions. He stepped in esch time there was an issue. Very grateful for the entire competent team.
