5 /5 Sondra Pierre: What a great preservation of Modoc history in these walls. Only $2.00 entrance fee and SO much to see! Friendly docent and a huge diversity of items donated by locals. Definitely worth the visit.

5 /5 Cameron S: I was on a work trip and asked the locals if there was a museum! Thankfully there was. I got to spend my lunch being drawn into the history of Modoc and Northern California in general. However, it wasnt the items or even the train(that immediately caught my eye upon passing) that gave me these lessons. Instead one of the volunteers Lloyd was happy to share stories and historical happenings with me. As a natural chatterbox myself I can say he definitely made the trip worth the walk down the road. Ill certainly be stopping in again and this time with cash in hand to pay the 2 dollar donation.

5 /5 Fae F.: What a wonderful museum! They have recently added and improved many things. Very fun place to wander and soak up some history. On a side note Jan was such a terrific hostess! Our whole family felt very welcomed and informed. Dont forget to bring cash. You will need it for admittance. Machine fees have become too costly.
