5 /5 Faizah Rajput: EXCEPTIONAL⭐️PARK⭐️PLAY⭐️EXPLORE
While at Mammoth I was looking for a quick spot to take my pup for a walk. The park is only a couple miles from the Ski resorts, but as soon as we drove in it felt like its own secluded magical forest.
There roads become soft dirt roads. There is loads of hiking trails and picnic areas. There is also a skateboard/bike park, with ramps small enough for young kids.
Theres a baseball field, and volleyball sand area. Everything is sectioned off nicely, but feels open and accessible. I did see several potty bag containers for pets. The signs posted as that all dogs stay on leash.
There is ample parking. We parked and walked into the trees instead of the park. The wind was howling and there was still snow on the floor, which my pup loved.
We walked for quite a ways and saw lots of blue birds and noticed golf spots sprinkled around the forest, as well as Frisbee golf stands, which made us feel very safe and comfortable.
After an hour we walked back to the car.
Theres little service in the dense trees, but after a short walk (10 min) in any direction the GPS picks back up. Charge your phone.
Enjoy!
