4 /5 Jorge Lopez: Moderate hike with some cool spots to take pics. The dirt road is not super challenging but make sure you pick the right lane if you have a small suv or a car. There are a few trails that take you here from the parking lot. There is a restroom here btw. The hike is about 10 to 15 min depending on your pace with some moderate elevation. There are 2 craters and you can walk around the top to check them both. You will also get some nice views of the mountains around the area.

5 /5 C W: Not knowing what to expect, pretty cool. First two trails from the parking lot lead to the craters, didnt take the third on the far end. Easy hike. Careful with the erosion near the edges. Decent amount of shade on the hike.

4 /5 Heidi Kindel: A trail approximately a 1/2 mile walk to Craters and 1/2 mile back..but there are more places on top to explore if your willing to walk up a hill and other parts. The Craters were pretty cool to see, but should have good shoes will be in dirt and some hills are a little steep.. its easy to slip a little .. just take your time. I saw a lot of people with wood sticks. Great history

5 /5 aceyorba: Short 1/2 mile hike to the craters from the parking lot.. Dont forget to check out both craters. Also hit up Crater FLATS by car after you leave the inyo craters parking lot. Great snowmobiling area in the winter.

4 /5 Khrisela Kerbey: Do not try to drive through the parts of road with high humps of snow! One vehicle was stuck just before we got there and on the same area, we helped tow out another vehicle on our way out. Be smart and find the best angles to go through. Use Google maps to assure yourself that youre on the right course. The very short and fairly easy hike to the crater is worth the pictures. The only reason I give 4 stars is poor signage at actual parking lot. Youll know youre there when you see the bathroom building. (One bathroom was locked, [nobody inside] and the other looked like a horror gas station bathroom. Super gross and unusable. We had to go, but still held off). Yes I would recommend going the the Inyo Crater but dont let little kids run ahead of you because there are no guard rails at the crater and the edge is loose gravel. We didnt venture down to the left where I believe I did see some sort of railing.

Lakes Basin Path / Horseshoe Lake Trailhead - Mammoth Lakes

Jackie Lopez: We came up here to do a short nature walk around horseshoe Lake. We were staying in Big Pine for the Wild Wild West ultra marathon race that takes place in Lone Pine. We wanted to stretch our legs a little bit but not do anything too difficult. This was perfect It was about a mile around the lake with beautiful views every turn you took. The path was well groomed and you were within the pine trees. There is lots of little bridges to cross and we even came upon an old foundation of what looked like what was once a cabin. You can see what remains of the fireplace.

X C: Please come with your hiking pole and hiking shoes. Yo will walk and walk in this beautiful place, you could find a wild animals. I was so lucky because I fing a big deer. If you want to see the mine entrance or the old air compressor you will going up to the hill. Be careful because the rocks are loose. But when you are at the too, you will feel better and yo can breathe clean air.

Hilltop Hot Springs - Mammoth Lakes

Vicky T: Sunrise in the winter is the best time to come since the weather was so cold and the hot spring temperature was perfect for the moment. I came on Wednesday and camped overnight at the parking lot to catch the sunrise. The hot spring is nice and clean, accessible from the parking lot, probably 0.3 miles hike. It’s a single pool with hot and cold water pipe to adjust the temperature. The scenery was amazing. It was a great experience driving 6 hours through the snow storm for this.

Debra Katz: Reds Meadow Road open June 7-8! Glad we checked the Park Service website! Great hike from Devils Postpile ranger station through the woods to the falls. Late Spring and the falls were gushing. 12:45 pm, sunny day and the rainbow was stunning!

Colton Hall Museum and Jail - Monterey

Gary Standke: Free parking in front and in the lot in back. The museum is upstairs. Large hall with artifacts and reproductions of the California constitution. Great docent who gave us a tour of the museum. The jail is next door and down stairs, Self guided and fun.

Monterey Bay Aquarium - Monterey

Terrie Snell: This place is Amazing!! It is absolutely beautiful. It is so neat and clean. The exhibits are very impressive. The vibrant colors of some are awe-inspiring. There is definitely plenty to see and do. All of the children that I observed seemed to be really enjoying themselves. I definitely will be back!

Old Fishermans Wharf - Monterey

Steven Cheng: It’s a small but very interesting and beautiful wharf! Many nice restaurants and shops that you need to visit and enjoy your meal here. Whale watching also is very popular here, many options that you can choose from. Most of the operators have two schedule for a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Price is between &70 to $90 dollars for three hours or four hours trip! Very big paid parking lot that you need to use kiosk to pay or download a APP. Parking is &1.75 an hour. Summer time parking lot will be full really fast in the morning!
