Twin Falls Overlook - Mammoth Lakes (CA)

5 /5 Thao Tran: What a beautiful and peaceful scene! Visited on a Sunday in August during sunset and the view is breathtaking! Not crowded at all. No hike needed. Theres a very short walk from the parking spot to the viewpoint.

Get up early take a cuppa coffee and watch the sunrise but anytime that you are in the area make sure you put it on your bucket list to stop and at least grab some pictures and take in the fresh air. On a clear Day you can see many miles to the east and peaks in the white mountains and glass mountains.

5 /5 Ana Torres: Roads were closed due to the amount of snow. We had to walk for about 50 minutes to reach the twin falls overlook. The walk was worth it, everything was beautiful. We were not prepared for the walk since we thought we could drive to it. First time here. Once you reach the top, the view is amazing. Hope to be back soon. Loved every minute of it. Was in awe with natures beauty.

5 /5 Rachel Counts: LOVE this spot! Very busy, but here’s a tip. Go past the bridge a little bit and go down the dirt. There’s a large flat rock to the side of the waterfall if you go down far enough where you can stand and take pictures with the mist of the falls. No one was down there. Everyone tries to climb down the waterfall itself but it’s better going down the dirt and then over to the falls.
