5 /5 May Petry: We have been taking all our dogs to Mid-Pen for more than 10 years now. Dr Mia Tomola is our primary vet and she is thorough, caring and practical. The front desk, tech and other staff are also fabulous. We always feel like they are part of the team who helps us take the best care of our pets. We couldn’t be happier to continue our various pet journey with them.

We always come here — all the way from San Francisco — anytime are 12 year old pup needs anything, has his annual open pretty thorough) exams, or if we travel with him abroad. They have a drive-in parking lot where you can park and wait while your pet gets looked at although they are allowing you to accompany them inside again.

5 /5 emily cavagnuolo: BEST VETERINARY PRACTICE OUT THERE! Let me start my saying that I use to go to a vet in San Mateo, out of my way because I thought they were the best. Boy was I wrong! While I still love my old Dr, she left the practice so I wanted to find a closer vet to my house. This was Mid Pen Vet. From day one it was clear I had been missing out on good service for the last 20 years! The entire staff works together to make sure everyone is cared for and really helps the animals! I came with a full house and tons of medical baggage, they welcomed me with open arms and I’m no longer left wondering what I should do with my babies when they are sick. I adore Dr. Forgette, she is compassionate and knowledgeable. I have no doubt she has already extended my cats life, i had a time sensitive issue with one of his medications and she tried to move mountains to make things happen. When she wasn’t available and I had an emergency on her day off, the other Dr.s were also very helpful and I wasn’t left hanging. The front desk staff are a bunch of rockstars! I love every one of them, they are always there with a smile, listen to your issues, and relay messages, they are truly part of what makes mid pen an amazing experience. The techs also shouldn’t go un-noticed, a vital part of this seamlessly moving machine. Also, less importantly but an added bonus, the place is gorgeous! Take away here, is that you are in good hands. From someone that has had a ton of experience being at a vet as a client, I promise you, Mid Pen is an EXCELLENT choice, from routine checkups, diagnostics, medication refills, to compassionate end of life care, they are there for you.
