1 /5 Lysa DeThomas: Stay far away! I have gone to this place multiple times and have received the absolute wrong diagnosis. 1 time I went with heart palpitations and was told that I had Long QT syndrome (LQTS) is a heart rhythm disorder that causes fast, chaotic heartbeats. The irregular heartbeats can be life-threatening. LQTS affects the electrical signals that travel through the heart and cause it to beat. The next morning I made an appointment with a cardiologist. After a full work up all they could find was a reaction to a cough medicine this place prescribed.
I figured that it was better safe than sorry and didn’t discount them.
Then I went in for a ruptured ear drum. I was told there was nothing that could be done and it would heal on its own. Ok. I read that on the internet, so I didn’t question what I was told. But six weeks later, when it hadn’t been healed properly I returned and was told that I had a fat embolism in my ear drum and was going deaf. I made an appointment with an audiologist OUTSIDE the valley, who clean out my ear- never had another problem since.
Lastly, one day I developed burning itching sores on my neck and scalp. I went directly here and was told that I had lice. As an elementary teacher, I am incredibly aware as to what a lice infestation looks like and this was not it. But the “doctor” wouldn’t even listen to me.i made an appointment with a dermatologist, but by the time I got in to them the contact dermatitis, which was a reaction to hair dye, had gone systemic and I needed to go on both oral antibiotics and topical hydrocortisone.
Three strikes and you are out. Stay far away. Don’t even give them a chance for one strike with you.
