Another Planet’s Hell I called Dr. Kumars office on 3/6/23 at 3:53 p.m. and spoke with Desiree. I told her that after many years, I wanted to re-establish as a patient with Dr. Kumar (to discuss a recent injury). Desiree then scolded me about wanting to do this and based her scolding entirely on her [uninformed] personal opinion, nothing more. I corrected her accordingly, though I dont know if it sank in. In the end, she said shed check with Dr. Kumar about my re-establishing and get back to me by Friday (at the latest). Well, that was 7 full days ago, and Friday has come and gone, but still no call. Ethically and morally bankrupt—exactly what you want in a health-care staff. Update: On 3/15/23 (9 days after the fact) at 9:19 a.m., Desiree finally called me back. But get this: She says Dr. Kumar has let her know that he "has closed his practice" and "might be considering retiring." Ummm…so Desiree works in Dr. Kumars office, but it wasnt until she [presumably] spoke to him that she found out that his practice IS CLOSED and that he MIGHT be CONSIDERING retiring? In the future, you might make your lies less obvious.

Rose Frisk Been going to this dr since I was17 and that now equals 45 years from this man. He was in Ceres, Ca across from memorial. He is the best! He has the morals that younger drs don’t always have. He is one of a kind.

EXPRESS LEGAL CENTER Initially I almost didn’t come here due to the reviews but after calling several other urgent care places this was the only place who answered all my questions by phone prior to showing up and were not rude like the other places I called. Everything was a 10/10 service highly recommend from the front staff to the dr. We were in and out in less than an hr. I will definitely be recommending to everyone. They accept Kaiser insurance as well ! Thank you for the great service!

linda soto The staff and my physician Lucas were really nice! Although it was walk in they had me out within an hour. It’s low cost for a physical that was needed for my CNA and were informative when I asked questions for a TB test.

L.M. Ive heard patient care has gone downhill. Im not surprised if their abysmal and callous disregard of visitor health and welfare is anything to go by. On Sunday, they send visitors through the ER! The ER, where people are coming with multiple communicable diseases at this time of year, including the possibility of TB, Covid, Measles, colds, and definitely FLU! Poor ventilation. Crowded conditions. They require you to get security clearance standing in a long line in the presence of sick patients. I waited in line for several minutes and the line went nowhere. What is this hospital trying to do? Drum up business by exposing visitors and then patients through the visitors, to multiple illness? APALLING disregard for health and safety for everyone. What, just to save some money on staff? All theyd need is ONE security person at the other door. Instead they play games with peoples health and lives like its a round of Roulette. I gave up and left, but if I get sick, I know who is to blame!!!

Lizdmca Worst hospital ever. Been here since 12 it is past 5pm. Been seen by a nurse and had a CT. No updates no room, waiting room of the ER had been full since we got here. There is one awesome nurse going above and beyond doing the best she can but with over 50 people in here and no real time dedicated to you or any one person you are passed on to the next person to explain everything all over again and then sent out to the waiting room for the next step. Ive been in ERs that I thought were bad, but Id take a 2 hour wait from start to finish than going on 6 hours with musical chairs and no results or diagnosis or discharge.

Lema Melody “Ammy” At my last in-office appointment, my doctor was great but it seems that his hands are tied when it comes to personalized care. This Sutter Clinic has turned into a basic clinic, where at one time the Sutter-Gould name meant excellence in medical care. They had lots of specialists and it didnt take months to see them. The lack of doctors was a problem BEFORE COVID-19- so dont beat that tired excuse again. I have been a patient at Sutter and the previous Turlock Medical Clinic on East Main, for close to 45-50 years. I remember the quality Doctors both here in Turlock and Modesto. But something has happened to the administration of the medical facilities. For example- they send messages to sign up for your vaccines, go online, follow their links, and you get to a page that says no vaccines in your area. Imagine, not being able to get your flu shot at your doctors office. It isnt the Doctors, it is the ability to meet needs.

Alexandra Solis This hospital almost took my life. I woke up after having a very very intense headache for 5 days and I had no feeling or movement in my whole left side. I had to be wheel chaired in because I absolutely could not walk. I get checked in and tell them everything that had been happening for the past 5 days. 10 minutes in to being there I completely pass out. Woke up to them cutting off my shirt and immediately asked what happened, they said I had lost consciousness.. my blood pressure was very low and since I was in my first trimester the assumed thats why I fainted. They took me back for an ultrasound and I was telling them my head hurt so very bad and they only gave me Benadryl and Tylenol, then proceeded to ask me how much change I would need to make .35 and I could not answer. They were getting ready to discharge me and the lady kept telling me if I want to go home I needed to put my shoes on and I could not because I had no mobility in my whole left side. They sent me home regardless with a pregnancy packet..and I still had to be wheeled out to my car.. I dont remember anything from the car ride home.. 4 days later I woke up at Stanford medical, they explained to me that I had a hemmoraghic stroke and my brain was covered in blood clots. I have 5 babies at home and I am so lucky to be alive. I will never ever step foot in this hospital again. I reside in Turlock and I will take myself and my children to Doctors medical. This hospital is an absolute joke putting peoples lives at risk.. they are lazy, rude and so unprofessional..come here at your own risk.

Rolln J I had an outpatient surgery here and it and everything went smooth and the staff was amazing. I have had over a dozen surgeries over the years and this place is top notch. From the start the staff was very helpful and supportive and the cohesion I saw within this group was amazing. They were all very attentive and super thorough with everything from beginning to end. Seemed like a great working environment in a very tough profession. I had to travel over an hour for my procedure and it was well worth it! Thank you to everyone at the outpatient center!

Bob Cummings Dr Cohen was my fathers physician. My father had an appointment with Cohen, and he said to Dr. Cohen, he felt like going home drinking a 6 pack and committing suicide. Thats exactly what he did without Cohen committing him or tryed to call his family or anything!! Did not care enough for his position.
