Kumar Puliadi MD - Turlock Another Planet’s Hell: I called Dr. Kumars office on 3/6/23 at 3:53 p.m. and spoke with Desiree. I told her that after many years, I wanted to re-establish as a patient with Dr. Kumar (to discuss a recent injury). Desiree then scolded me about wanting to do this and based her scolding entirely on her [uninformed] personal opinion, nothing more. I corrected her accordingly, though I dont know if it sank in. In the end, she said shed check with Dr. Kumar about my re-establishing and get back to me by Friday (at the latest). Well, that was 7 full days ago, and Friday has come and gone, but still no call. Ethically and morally bankrupt—exactly what you want in a health-care staff.
Update: On 3/15/23 (9 days after the fact) at 9:19 a.m., Desiree finally called me back. But get this: She says Dr. Kumar has let her know that he "has closed his practice" and "might be considering retiring." Ummm…so Desiree works in Dr. Kumars office, but it wasnt until she [presumably] spoke to him that she found out that his practice IS CLOSED and that he MIGHT be CONSIDERING retiring? In the future, you might make your lies less obvious.
