5 /5 Chelsea Castro: I love luxe nails. I have been in the O for 10 Years and never found a tech who could manage how hard I am on my nails. I have tried every different nail application type (dip, acrylic, pink and white) and literally - I needed Luxe. Their product and technique is flawless and finely executed. Picture of the holiday nails is 2 weeks past (and still look so good - I got a compliment today!) and I will go in tomorrow and follow up with my new year set! Follow up pic with my fresh set! Sparkle French for the New Year!

1 /5 Karin Hecox: I came in for a gel x fill. Tobi and Daniel not available. I normally LOVE how my nails turnout, but not this time. So another nail tech did my nails. I should have come back another day when Tobi or Daniel were there. Not at all happy with how they turned out. Not a smooth finish; flattened my nails out; no clean lines; I asked for thin french. Totally bummed.

5 /5 Olivia DeRobbio: I had an amazing experience at Luxe Nails with Tobi! I came in to get a soak off and a new Gel X full set while I was in Oceanside for my wedding. I had gotten an acrylic full set before flying out to CA, but unfortunately, one of my nails broke just four days before my wedding. I wasn’t thrilled with the set I had they were too thick and clearly didn’t last, but Tobi completely turned that around and made my bridal nail dreams come true! He was incredibly kind, patient, and took his time to ensure every detail was perfect. I felt so taken care of, and the nails turned out beautifully. Almost a week later, they still look as perfect as the first day. I’m so happy with the results and will definitely be back if Im ever in CA again! Highly recommend Tobi and Luxe Nails for anyone looking for top-notch nail care! 5 stars all the way!

5 /5 Sara Tish Mikoczi: Love this place. Everyone here is so kind and always helpful when I come. I always have Susan who is such a perfectionist when it comes to my nails and that is why I always go back to her. The place is an older building but always clean and they keep up the equipment, nail colors (note they are all gel at $15 more than listed price which they tell you), etc. Also, they prefer cash but if you use their atm, they give you back the atm charge ($8) at least for the atm in cash. So that is a nice bonus. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. Note I usually get the second highest price pedicure with parrafin, extra oil massage, etc. for $55. The nail color removal and previous gel removal were included.

Kate Kesling: Mani/pedi with gel polish done beautifully!!! I apologize as I did not get the name of the lady that did my toes but they look great. Did my own all summer and she made them look so pretty! I chose the option with scrub, callous treatment and massage. Well worth the upgrade. I promise. My feet are like a baby bottom. I was then sat with Amy for my manicure. She did the most beautiful natural gel manicure. She is very gentle. I am a farm girl visiting from Washington State and my hands & feet get abused. These ladies made me feel like a girl again. They got me right in on a Friday morning. Salon is clean and welcoming.

Lexus Vasquez: New owners, but still great nails!! ALWAYS ask for Hana to do your nails. She’s the best!! She takes her time, always shapes my nails perfectly, and does the designs I ask for perfectly. I will only ask for Hana to do my nails from now on! The woman that did my pedicure was awesome and very gentle, she took her time as well and did not rush. Great service, I’m only giving 4 stars because the price was very expensive even though they gave me 10% off for their grand opening.

Raelyn Swanson: They were very friendly and helpful. I showed her a design and she was very helpful giving me suggestions on how we could do something similar. The nail shape is perfect and she spent time making sure they were exactly what I wanted. It was reasonably priced and I loved the results. They were all very nice and we all held a conversation the whole time I was there. They are funny and they care about the work they do. This was the best nail salon experience that I have had and I definitely recommend everyone to come here!!

Maygen Sutton: I went in for an appointment at 2pm and they didn’t do anything for me except put the nails on. There are bubbles under my nails and they are already coming off. They did not push back my cuticle or do anything else so it already looks like a weeks worth of growth even though it’s been 2 days! When I asked why they didn’t do anything to my cuticles they said they didn’t have time and still charged full price.

Jess: Visiting my family in Carlsbad who told me this is her favorite nail salon. We walked in on a busy Sunday and they saw us both within 10-20 minutes. I asked for short almond acrylics and they came out very nice. This is my first time getting acrylic, I’ve only gotten tips with dip before. The manicurist didn’t try to upsell me on any services which I appreciate because I don’t want paraffin or massage or anything.

Jade Jones: I came into this salon today to get a full set with powder, an eyebrow and lip wax. I got the pleasure of having these services done by Jackie! She was so kind, easy to talk to and she did an incredible job! I asked for very short almond nails with a neutral color with a hint of pink undertone. My eyebrows and lip wax also came out great. I highly recommend this clean and calming salon and I couldn’t recommend Jackie enough! I will be back to see her :) Thank you!

Anne Beck: I’ve never found a nail specialist or nail salon that I really love and I found it here at Happiness Nails. I love that the space is clean. I love that the people are kind. I love that I can walk in & they are accommodating and accurate on the times someone can see me. I will for sure make appointments in the future because I found Amy and she is an exceptional nail specialist. I picked a color that was a little too pink and I mentioned I wanted more of a natural nude and Amy knew exactly what I was looking for. She is an expert and perfectionist in her craft and I’ve never had a nail technician like her before. She’s professional, respectful, meticulous, hardworking, knowledgeable and so kind. I almost don’t want anyone to know because I want to keep it all to myself, but sharing is caring and I believe great businesses and people should be highlighted. I highly recommend this nail spot and I definitely plan to come here again. Thank you for my lovely nails, I’m so happy with them!! Happiness Nails truly delivered happiness. Thank you!

Terri Eliazar-Stevens: I’m sorry to have write a one star review. But since moving to So Cal. The struggle is real to find a good not great nail tech. These nail shops don’t take much pride in their work anymore just the money and what kind of pedicure you want. I have been here for just mani and pedis with no color and this past weekend I was headed to Vegas for a birthday weekend and this happened too nails chipped before we even got there. By the end of my concert I lost a gel polish completely on my index finger. Where I don’t know and this morning Just picking up food at a restaurant my ring finger gel Polish just came off. Our price for my husband and Me was 172.00 plus 30 dollars tip and I didn’t get I day with the damn polish. I am beyond irritated for the dismissive attitude of the nail tech. Cause yes I did call the day after to let her know what happened. She had the audacity to tell me that after 33 years of doing nails this never happened to her. Hmm I going to beg to differ since I am a former cosmetologist. For these prices that nail salon charges I’ll be searching yet for another nail salon.

Amy Feeley: I NEVER write bad reviews…but I feel like I had to this time! I have been to this salon in the past many times…my experience is always hit or miss. But because of convenience with it being so close to my house I sometimes end up there…today was the last time! I was treated so rudely I am still in shock! I had dip on my nails previously from there and I didn’t like it and wanted to go back to gel…she kept insisting I do the dip polish instead! I think they push this for many reasons…they charge more, easier application, and you definitely have to come back to get it removed. So after we agreed I wanted gel instead she started removing it. I was yelled at several times for my fingers popping up when one is pushed down which is what my hands do naturally and then she was very rough with my fingers bending them in ways they are not supposed to be bent. I was not gonna sit there and be verbally and physically abused for an hour! So I told her I changed my mind and just wanted the removal done. She kept asking several times why and I just said I changed my mind. After it was removed I paid and left. All the nail techs in there know me for always being very nice, making conversation, and tipping well. I’m the type of person who is too nice to a fault. I for sure will NEVER return to this establishment again! And I will make the drive to La Costa where I’m treated kindly and they do an AMAZING job.
