5 /5 Kate Kesling: Mani/pedi with gel polish done beautifully!!! I apologize as I did not get the name of the lady that did my toes but they look great. Did my own all summer and she made them look so pretty! I chose the option with scrub, callous treatment and massage. Well worth the upgrade. I promise. My feet are like a baby bottom. I was then sat with Amy for my manicure. She did the most beautiful natural gel manicure. She is very gentle. I am a farm girl visiting from Washington State and my hands & feet get abused. These ladies made me feel like a girl again. They got me right in on a Friday morning. Salon is clean and welcoming.

4 /5 Kimmi Austin: Been coming here since January 2018. Nice place good prices nails actually LAST and they dont give you BS when you want nail designs. The only downside is that when you make an appointment (and you NEED TO they are very busy) expect to wait up to 15-20 minutes after your appointment time to get in the chair. This is due to how busy they are and how dedicated they are to making nice nails that last.

5 /5 Kirsten Alana Photography: Good price and great service from Michelle for a full set of acrylics! I was in the area for work and needed to find something to do indoors on a bad weather day. I hadn’t had acrylics since before the pandemic but I remember it being far worse than my experience with Michelle. So really impressed. The salon does have a very very strong smell and the decor is amusing. Lots of lights! But I was seen without an appointment immediately on a Wed morning and everyone was cheerful. And the nails look terrific! Best set I’ve ever had. Very good experience for the price and no appt.

5 /5 heather schultz: I came back to joshlyn after being out of the area for eight years and man did she not disappoint! I hated my nails and how curvy they were and she did an amazing job in fixing them, I will continue to go back to her even if I have to make the hour an half drive. It’s totally worth it. Anna did my pedicure and she was amazing as well! They are extremely busy so make sure you make an appointment or else you’ll be disappointed.

Maygen Sutton: I went in for an appointment at 2pm and they didn’t do anything for me except put the nails on. There are bubbles under my nails and they are already coming off. They did not push back my cuticle or do anything else so it already looks like a weeks worth of growth even though it’s been 2 days! When I asked why they didn’t do anything to my cuticles they said they didn’t have time and still charged full price.

Jess: Visiting my family in Carlsbad who told me this is her favorite nail salon. We walked in on a busy Sunday and they saw us both within 10-20 minutes. I asked for short almond acrylics and they came out very nice. This is my first time getting acrylic, I’ve only gotten tips with dip before. The manicurist didn’t try to upsell me on any services which I appreciate because I don’t want paraffin or massage or anything.

Jade Jones: I came into this salon today to get a full set with powder, an eyebrow and lip wax. I got the pleasure of having these services done by Jackie! She was so kind, easy to talk to and she did an incredible job! I asked for very short almond nails with a neutral color with a hint of pink undertone. My eyebrows and lip wax also came out great. I highly recommend this clean and calming salon and I couldn’t recommend Jackie enough! I will be back to see her :) Thank you!

Anne Beck: I’ve never found a nail specialist or nail salon that I really love and I found it here at Happiness Nails. I love that the space is clean. I love that the people are kind. I love that I can walk in & they are accommodating and accurate on the times someone can see me. I will for sure make appointments in the future because I found Amy and she is an exceptional nail specialist. I picked a color that was a little too pink and I mentioned I wanted more of a natural nude and Amy knew exactly what I was looking for. She is an expert and perfectionist in her craft and I’ve never had a nail technician like her before. She’s professional, respectful, meticulous, hardworking, knowledgeable and so kind. I almost don’t want anyone to know because I want to keep it all to myself, but sharing is caring and I believe great businesses and people should be highlighted. I highly recommend this nail spot and I definitely plan to come here again. Thank you for my lovely nails, I’m so happy with them!! Happiness Nails truly delivered happiness. Thank you!

Terri Eliazar-Stevens: I’m sorry to have write a one star review. But since moving to So Cal. The struggle is real to find a good not great nail tech. These nail shops don’t take much pride in their work anymore just the money and what kind of pedicure you want. I have been here for just mani and pedis with no color and this past weekend I was headed to Vegas for a birthday weekend and this happened too nails chipped before we even got there. By the end of my concert I lost a gel polish completely on my index finger. Where I don’t know and this morning Just picking up food at a restaurant my ring finger gel Polish just came off. Our price for my husband and Me was 172.00 plus 30 dollars tip and I didn’t get I day with the damn polish. I am beyond irritated for the dismissive attitude of the nail tech. Cause yes I did call the day after to let her know what happened. She had the audacity to tell me that after 33 years of doing nails this never happened to her. Hmm I going to beg to differ since I am a former cosmetologist. For these prices that nail salon charges I’ll be searching yet for another nail salon.

Amy Feeley: I NEVER write bad reviews…but I feel like I had to this time! I have been to this salon in the past many times…my experience is always hit or miss. But because of convenience with it being so close to my house I sometimes end up there…today was the last time! I was treated so rudely I am still in shock! I had dip on my nails previously from there and I didn’t like it and wanted to go back to gel…she kept insisting I do the dip polish instead! I think they push this for many reasons…they charge more, easier application, and you definitely have to come back to get it removed. So after we agreed I wanted gel instead she started removing it. I was yelled at several times for my fingers popping up when one is pushed down which is what my hands do naturally and then she was very rough with my fingers bending them in ways they are not supposed to be bent. I was not gonna sit there and be verbally and physically abused for an hour! So I told her I changed my mind and just wanted the removal done. She kept asking several times why and I just said I changed my mind. After it was removed I paid and left. All the nail techs in there know me for always being very nice, making conversation, and tipping well. I’m the type of person who is too nice to a fault. I for sure will NEVER return to this establishment again! And I will make the drive to La Costa where I’m treated kindly and they do an AMAZING job.

F Daminion “Dee”: Tried to give this place a chance. The first time I went I got a manipedi asked for square french nails and ended up with almost duckbill nails. Asked her to keep fixing them and she brushed it off. When I returned to get the color fixed the next woman looked at them and said she would fix them since it was pretty bad(the shape) and that the whole nails were peeling off and kept commenting on how bad it was. Mind you this was a full acrylic set so why is the entire mail coming up like a press on? She did it perfectly so thank God for her. I went back just to get the color changed recently and ended up being serviced by the first woman who did my nails bad the first time. They were busy so I figured how can you mess up a color change? It should be fine. She changed the color after they kept saying I needed a fill which I didnt because the other woman had just done my nails the week prior. In the end I was charged $25 for a color change! I wont be back
