+ The Spa Collective is located in a residential neighborhood across from the Rite Aid/Smart & Final plaza. It kind of looks like a house converted into a business? Lol
+ Parking is easy the neighborhood. I had no problem finding a spot on Pacific Street. Just keep an eye out for signs and restrictions.
+ The interior of Spa Collective is really chic and cute. It’s clean, bright, and an inviting space.
+ I came for lash extensions (my first time!!) and Sara was my lash tech. She was professional, friendly, and warm. I felt very comfortable with her, she was super knowledgeable and gave me lots of insightful information on aftercare and maintenance. I felt very relaxed through out the entire process (even took a nap) and we were done before I knew it! I loved the way my lashes turned out and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. I highly recommend booking an appointment with Sara.
+ Prices are very reasonable for the quality and ambiance provided. They offer complimentary teas, coffee, and water in the lobby and there is comfortable seating for waiting.

I now treat my mother to her mani/pedi services here as well — it’s become our go-to spot. The service is consistently attentive, and the ladies are always polite, professional, and welcoming.
They have a fantastic selection of colors to choose from, and the pedicure chairs are incredibly comfortable — you really feel pampered. The prices are very affordable, which is a big plus.
Another huge plus: their gel mani/pedi polish lasts beautifully for 3–4 weeks! The quality is excellent, and it really makes a difference.
At first, I wasn’t sure about the dimmed lighting, but I quickly realized how calming it is. It actually helps me relax more during the service. I also love the cozy couches in the waiting area — such a thoughtful touch that makes the whole experience even more pleasant.
One of the things I appreciate most is their flexibility. Even when I called just 30 minutes before the time I needed, they managed to accommodate me without hesitation.
Highly recommend this salon — it’s a wonderful combination of comfort, quality, and care!
First Impression of San Carlos - San CarlosHeidi Dworetzky: I don’t have a problem with both branches I just don’t like the branch in San Carlos. I filed my own nails let’s start there. The lady didn’t understand me because of lack of communication. She was making them shorter and shorter but still filing them the wrong shape. Which I don’t have a problem finding my own nails. I do have a problem when they still don’t do it right after me showing them how to do one. Then they messed them up all over again. Which ended with me just taking the file and fixing it myself which I was happy to do. She had a extremely bad attitude. Saying the boss can take over and do them which I don’t have time for. Then I asked her to fix a toenail which would’ve required her to take the color off put acrylic on to make my nails look square and she just filed my nail in a circle and said OK all done. It’s clearly not square the one she was supposed to fix. Also she didn’t want to do cuticle oil they had it. But I was ready to leave. So I didn’t bother to ask. And had an attitude about it the entire time so I probably will not come back to the location in San Carlos. I will go to the one in Belmont where at least they are very pleasant.
