5 /5 Loretta Rockwell: As I was perusing the Wellspring magazine from last year, I came across Dr. Zopfi’s photo, and was flooded with my wonderful dealings with him long ago- 27 years to be exact! I was going through a challenging time when I found the lump on my breast. His kindness, gentleness. and sincere compassion is what I remember and always will! The lump was a benign cyst, but from start to finish the experience was frightening with all the rest of that challenging time! Maya Angelou said that we may forget what people say and do, but we will never forget how they made us feel! Dr. Zopfi rocks as an excellent surgeon as well as a humanitarian!

3 /5 SoundzLike J: Please give patients the courtesy to either follow up with them to see if they will make their appointments the next day, or call to notify them that they must reschedule. Ive never been here but Ive worked in medical practices for a decade and I can confidently say that the very beginning of my experience dealing with this office is not a comforting and accommodating experience. The basic work ethic from the front office at this particular location is missing a few important and substantial connections between patient coordinator and patient. I understand the Doctor may have a busy schedule and Im not the only patient. We patients have lives too and are busy as well and that is just as much as a fact! I am disclosing that I am on state funded county medical assistance and this place really gives off the impression that they provide the type of service that matches the type of Healthcare coverage you have. For instance, this front office could be equally compared to that of Western Dental; I understand I dont pay for health insurance, but its unfortunate that places like this would rub it in your face by offering a limited experience to patients based on what coverage they mainly accept(medi-cal), and not to mention a very morbid and short one. I would highly appreciate and suggest more PATIENT COURTESY that isnt dictated by the type of insurance coverage I have and to not have to experience from the front office the type of courtesies and accommodations that are in alignment with they type of insurance that I may carry or that they might accept. Honestly, It feels borderline discriminatory. I hope the front office and its care coordinators (if thats what they are even called) are not a direct reflection of what to expect in the back/office or of the Doctors for this matter. We will have to see soon I suppose. Tread carefully.
