  • St. Agnes Church - Los Angeles
    St. Agnes Church
Frances Peterson: St. Agnes is your regular parish church with a lot of class. Its a multi-racial parish but they make you feel welcome. They blew us away on the feast of Our Lady of Fatima with a beautiful candlelit procession, volunteers carrying the statue on a flower. Be decked bier, gorgeous music provided by the sisters from the monastery of the trinitarians of Mary, gorgeous flower arrangements. Great preaching in Spanish and English though we noticed the Korean community was not present at that mass, and the most marvelously friendly community that came to welcome us after the mass. There is parking in the lot but you should get there early. Of course. One can take the bus or Uber as well. If you get there early, then you can find out how the parish works from the friendly members and learn how to get your bulletin, your seat, find the restroom, etc. Remember to receive Holy Communion at a Catholic church. You must go through the RCIA program for 9 months from September to June. One has to be formally received into the Catholic church in order to receive the sacraments. It is respectful to do so.

    Cornerstone Church - Long Beach
    Cornerstone Church
CAROL EUNICE GUDUMOTU: God led me to Cornerstone church in a providential way. Am so happy and ecstatic to call this church my Home church. A very friendly and god-loving atmostphere reverberates through the halls of my church. The church elders, staff and the pastors are servants and stewards of God. All glory to Jesus!
Sound House Church - Long Beach
    Sound House Church
Diane Massey: We love Sound House Church. We don’t live in Southern California, but visit there 4-5 times a year and never miss a Sunday when we are there! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Ryan’s message always resonates. We drive away after service and my husband and I always say that if we lived in Southern California, Sound House would be our home church.
Our Lady of Refuge - Long Beach
Tech Gole: Great homily with personal perspective! The priest gave perspective on parishioners present and how God is working in their lives. It made the Mass and Holy Eucharist more powerful.

Grace Long Beach - Long Beach
Agustin Vieyra: As someone who’s attended Grace for 20 years, I find Grace to be a lovely community of folks who love Jesus and people with breadth and depth. It’s people are generous and have an affection for the city of Long Beach and hope for newness and wholeness to break through in ALL corners of the city.
Light & Life Christian Fellowship - Long Beach
    Light & Life Christian Fellowship
Elizabeth Reyes: This is a very multicultured Church this is what happens going to be like. Everyone is basically nice the pastors are friendly. They have a lot of activities for the youth. The only thing I would say there is that they need to have the young people do some charity work not just all party and eating. Very have people there that will pray for you if you feel the need for more. My friend made me laugh when she said why do the Hispanics church have more food after service than a church than the bigger church LOL. This church does a lot does a lot for the community it has a farmers market which is free. Also has a food pantry. Your children will have a lot of fun . They try to do fun things for the children to do, they also have and they also have Nursery so you can enjoy the service. The only other thing and I would suggest is that they do more for the homeless community. They could collect blankets and other things like socks and underwear that homeless people could use also jackets. There are many people that need help especially the mentally ill that people tend to ignore.
