5 /5 sue gallagher: Today was my “70th” Birthday. I walk in not excepting anything. The chef ceaser brings me a beautiful plate of salmon, esparagus, Brussel sprouts and brown rice and a box of chocolates Such a nice jester That’s why I love the staff and volunteers here They are loving folks This has been a safe haven for so many people to come eat a beautiful meal created by god. I’m so blessed to be able to walk to this church Ceaser the chef is extra special to me. He’s a generous soul. I appreciate him and all the staff that continue to help those in need I’m truly blessed Sammy

5 /5 Tim Hildebrand: I have been attending off and on for some time now. Wonderful church, lots of good hearted people, and the food program was one of the things that drew me. Someone left a review on here about volunteers walking out with prime rib and lobster…that’s weirdly inaccurate. I’ve never seen prime rib or lobster in the kitchens or store rooms in any of my visits, and I had full access to all of the storage. Also, many of the volunteers working in food distribution up till now were on hard times themselves before joining the program, so if the admins (oversight is solid) send volunteers home with groceries, it’s going to the right people.

4 /5 Dray Colet: A nice place to meet up with friends and have a free, Home-cooked meal. Brunch is served between 10:00am and 11:00 am each weekday. The meal is typically an egg prepared dish (eg quiche), beans, meat, salad, and potatoes that rivals those served by the greatest of chefs. The meal is rounded off by a fruit dish and pastry. It is a drug and alcohol free environment where businessmen mingle with vagrant; the affluent with the homeless. It is a peaceful environment where we leave the problems of the day behind and deal with the only real issue that matters... Where to put all that good food.

5 /5 Lisa Carter: All I know is this church cares for the homeless. Everyday they feed from 10:00 to 11:00am and 4:00 to 5:00pm, except, for the weekends. The bible says "What you do to the least of these youve done it unto me." I commend their great work and pray that God will abundantly bless all the cooks and their hands. They do such a wonderful job. The food is like fine dining! Brothers and sisters, keep up the courageous and heartfelt work. May God pour his blessings upon you guys in abundance. Amen!

St. Agnes Church - Los Angeles

Frances Peterson: St. Agnes is your regular parish church with a lot of class. Its a multi-racial parish but they make you feel welcome. They blew us away on the feast of Our Lady of Fatima with a beautiful candlelit procession, volunteers carrying the statue on a flower. Be decked bier, gorgeous music provided by the sisters from the monastery of the trinitarians of Mary, gorgeous flower arrangements. Great preaching in Spanish and English though we noticed the Korean community was not present at that mass, and the most marvelously friendly community that came to welcome us after the mass. There is parking in the lot but you should get there early. Of course. One can take the bus or Uber as well. If you get there early, then you can find out how the parish works from the friendly members and learn how to get your bulletin, your seat, find the restroom, etc. Remember to receive Holy Communion at a Catholic church. You must go through the RCIA program for 9 months from September to June. One has to be formally received into the Catholic church in order to receive the sacraments. It is respectful to do so.

Elizabeth Reyes: This is a very multicultured Church this is what happens going to be like. Everyone is basically nice the pastors are friendly. They have a lot of activities for the youth. The only thing I would say there is that they need to have the young people do some charity work not just all party and eating. Very have people there that will pray for you if you feel the need for more. My friend made me laugh when she said why do the Hispanics church have more food after service than a church than the bigger church LOL. This church does a lot does a lot for the community it has a farmers market which is free. Also has a food pantry. Your children will have a lot of fun . They try to do fun things for the children to do, they also have and they also have Nursery so you can enjoy the service. The only other thing and I would suggest is that they do more for the homeless community. They could collect blankets and other things like socks and underwear that homeless people could use also jackets. There are many people that need help especially the mentally ill that people tend to ignore.
