1 /5 John Tian: I was billed $100+ for a single myChart message from my provider in response to a question about a prescription refill. Not a request for a refill, just a question on how I could get a refill without getting billed for an office visit.
I was stuck with a bill that I had to dispute with Hoag. They didnt even run it through my insurance until after I disputed. Regardless of my arguments, the lack of notes in my medical records indicating any provider time was spent on my refill, or my Hoag Doctors own advice (he told me during my last physical I could request refills via myChart for free), Im left paying this bill and filing grievances with my insurance and CA.
