5 /5 Moon Choe: Best Iron Perm Experience! Whenever I visit Korea, I always get an Iron Perm because my silky hair tends to lack volume. The results there are always amazing. A few years ago, I tried getting it done in Silicon Valley, but unfortunately, the stylist burned some of my hair, so I never tried it here again. Recently, I discovered that Ga-In Salon, where I regularly get my haircuts, also offers Iron Perms. I decided to give it a try, and Im so glad I did! The stylist did an excellent job (check out the results in the picture), and even gave me a complimentary collagen treatment. If you’re visiting Ga-In Salon, I recommend bringing a few photos (front, side, back) of the hairstyle you want. The stylist is really skilled and will work her magic to achieve the look you’re going for!

5 /5 Vincent Trinh: Ga-In is the kindest hair stylist that I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. She was willing to book an appointment for me 30 minutes before her usual opening time during the busy weekend before New Years. I showed up almost an hour late. She was still happy to work me into her schedule where she could. I was able to get my hair cut within 30 minutes of waiting. Ga-In quickly understood what I wanted based on the photo I showed her (a two block), and did a fantastic job. This was my first visit to Ga-In Beauty Salon -- and I will definitely be back! I highly recommend Ga-In if you are looking for a fantastic Korean hair stylist. Great skill, personality, and understanding. Very clean salon.

5 /5 Cathy Lee: This review is very overdue. A year or so ago, Grace gave me the best haircut and digital perm that I’ve ever had in my life. It was exactly what I asked for- as short as possible but still being long enough to tie. My hair felt incredibly light but was full of body and made me feel beautiful, yet it was easy to manage and never got tangled. She turned down other hair appointments, so she could just focus off my hair since I was asking for both a haircut and digital perm, which was very time and labor-intensive. My husband loved my new hair style too. Despite not trimming it for a year, I’m still very happy with it and how it has been growing out and looks with the digital perm. This picture is of the back of my hair about two months after my cut and perm. I’ve never looked at a picture of the back of my own hair and been so pleased with it! Thank you, Grace!

5 /5 Thomas K: Ive been coming here for 9+ years and I have to say that the owner is amazing when it comes to cutting my type of hair which is very straight, a typical Asian male hair. I have a very specific style which she is able to make every time for this long which is the amazing part. She has a degree and training to cut, style, color, etc. hair which is also a plus. Price is also on the higher end, but compared to the Bay area, its considered average. She is popular and I recommend calling ahead of time to set an appointment, especially on the weekends. She is also off Sundays and Mondays.
