He truly has a gift for understanding exactly what works best for your hair type and face shape. 5 /5 cintia cortez: On November 2, 2024, I called Evoke to schedule an appointment since I was near Sunnyvale. Initially, I booked an appointment for 1:00 PM but later rescheduled for 2:00 PM. They were very flexible and accommodating. I found Evoke to be the best hair salon for coloring and caring for my hair. Even if I have to drive from far away, I will still go there because the environment is friendly and positive. My experience at Evoke was great; unlike other beauty salons, this one was filled with laughter and joy, making it feel like a family. They treated my whole family wonderfully, and my daughter even remarked that she found a new "mama" there. I absolutely love my new haircut and hair color with highlights!

2 /5 sridevi srinivasan: I booked an appointment for balyage and root touchup. Victor helped me. This guy barely even took 2 mins to look at the sample photo I showed and was too impatient to discuss options with me and straight away mixed the color and applied it. I wanted a bleach free and ammonia free process. But nope, did not get his attention or time enough to tell this. I kept complaining the colors are burning and have a very strong stench that he did not even bother to address. I guess I can’t even expect now for him to explain cost associated with my hair color choices. I went at 2 PM and by 3.30 PM my hair coloring was done and washed and hair trim was done too all while he was constantly on a call barely answering my questions. Time for billing - randomly he added 50$ stating bleach free colors cost extra money which he never bothered to explain or check with me before going ahead For the $$$ definitely wish there was better quality of service

1 /5 Emily Wooten: Can confidently say I’ve never had a worse haircut. First, I was told at least five times by multiple employees how dead my hair is. At time number 4, I became self conscious. Second, the haircut was not even close to what I asked for. We decided on 2 inches off and when I looked down, at least 4 inches had been cut off. Mind you my hair was close to my belly button, now it sits at breast length. When I mentioned this to my stylist, she argued when me about how much had been cut off. I also asked for curtain bangs, at best I got face framing pieces that are longer than my face. Not bangs. Lastly, my hair was pulled (some pieces pulled out by brushes, her rings and watch, or styling tools) multiple times. You shouldn’t have to be in pain to get your hair done. I cried when I left and will not be back again.
