5 /5 Bethyame: We LOVE Dr. Birlew. Although he has been a doctor for a long time, he is not dismissive and curt like a lot of doctors I’ve been to that have been practicing for decades. What you see is what you get with Dr. Birlew. He is a genuinely nice person, listens to you, asks follow up questions and gives long term advice for after you leave. I know those attributes sound like a given when going to see a doctor but it’s actually (in my experience) quite rare. He also has a hard working staff and even though it might be a long wait sitting in the waiting room, I don’t have to wait weeks for an appointment…which is SO nice. I actually live almost an hour away from his office but will gladly make the drive.

4 /5 Margaret Gray: He is my primary care provider! I hadnt been in awhile and to refill a prescription a visit was required! I arrived at 9:07am and didnt get seen until after 2pm. The waiting was insane! I used a car service through my Wellcare insurance and the driver got ticked off due to the long wait and told me to call the company because he was no longer going to wait! This added to my stress having to go back and forth with the company to get a ride home! I no longer live in the area so a ride was necessary to return home! I was told my ride would arrive at 2:30! After more calling a woman informed me she would get me home. Lyft driver arrived in 4 minutes, now it is 4:30pm! Needless to say the driver was such a a blessing. We shared the goodness of God and had conversation regarding family and serving God. Satan you lost!

5 /5 Bobby Peterson: I have been a patient of Dr.Birlew for over 30 years. He has saved my life multiple times and I have been a friend of his family and worked with His wife since I met them. If you need a local Physician here in Stockton then he is the guy to see. Great office staff and great nurses. He is always open everyday and you don’t need to have a appointment. You may have to wait a little bit but it’s very worth it. Much better than any Emergency Room. You have just seen my review of one of the finest Physicians in the San Joaquin Valley.
