5 /5 Bill Maloney: I first connected with Dr. Sackss while in St. Johns hospital and have continued treatment with them via weekly calls for almost 8 months. I would not be at the lower pain level and higher functionality level that I am now without his wise guidance. He has been able to help me navigate a complex disease and a complex set of options for pain and functionality management. He brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience to the table as well as a level of kindness rarely seen in many physicians. I highly recommend him.

I started seeing him in the fall of 2024 for debilitating migraines that had progressively worsened throughout the year. From the getgo, Dr. Sacks took the time to learn my medical history and get to know me not just as a patient, but also as a person, and worked both quickly and diligently with me to come up with an appropriate plan, which has proved wildly successful. Since then, I’ve experienced life-changing relief that has made me tremendously more functional day to day, and I continue to improve with the passing months. And Dr. Sacks has never hesitated to engage in the requisite back and forth with my insurer to ensure that I obtain coverage for my medications, and he is continuously adaptable to my availability. Simply put, Dr. Sacks is the commensurate doctor—deeply knowledgeable, very attentive, highly flexible to patient needs and availability, incredibly considerate of patient perspective, and a fierce patient advocate. I feel indescribably lucky to be in Dr. Sacks’s care.

If you need pain management don’t hesitant to call him! When we started chemo and radiation my husband was on a lot of dangerous drugs and becoming addicted. 5 /5 Dana Brook: I was initially referred to Dr. Sacks when I was experiencing extreme pain. His treatment was efficient and spot on. And now, thanks to him, I am no longer suffering from chronic migraines. Hes kind, thoughtful and very careful - qualities you want in one specializing in pain treatment. Update - 1/31 Dr. Sacks is extremely knowledgeable and efficient. No frills, but straightforward and excellent care. He has been my pain management doc for several years now. Thanks to his work, my migraines have gone from 5-8/month to 0-1/month. As well, I recently broke my elbow. He was able to see me right away and put me on a plan that worked exceptionally well. Even my surgeon gave him all the credit for keeping me nearly pain-free before, during and after surgery. I must add that he is very careful. While he will work hard to get you what you need for pain management, he is truly excellent about being conservative. I appreciate this greatly - as should anyone seeking help for pain. It is way too easy to go overboard.
