1 /5 Karen Childress: I can’t believe these people are in the behavioral health business! They called to tell me my therapist is no longer available 4 days before our appointment. I’ve seen this therapist for 8 months. No closure, no concern about me , just abruptly said she’s no longer with Desert Oasis and we will be out sourcing your care. Really this is what I pay for. Then I am placed with a therapist who doesn’t read my chart or notes and drones on about all of her experience, I’m assuming that if you’re my new therapist with Desert Oasis your qualified. She then proceeds to ask me about how my dad died ( old age) but wants to know how???? He was 90 , if I needed to talk about him I would. NO WHERE in the notes would be anything concerning my father. Again what is happening, why am I wasting my time with this woman…the lack of professionalism and organization is astonishing. I’m changing my insurance, of course, if I can . Meanwhile while I’m on hold their advertising QAULITY care, really????
