List Best 18 Nail Salons in Pasadena, CA (Part 2)
03-2025 DJ Nails & Spa in List Best 18 Nail Salons in Pasadena, CA (Part 2)Jasmine Spa Nails - Pasadena Katherine Twomey: First time at this nail salon and I was very impressed. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I got structured gel nails and a gel pedicure and both were absolutely fantastic! I used to always do dip at other salons and it always looked thick and chunky this structured gel looks beautifully thin and even and it is still as strong as the dip. They did great shaping and cuticle work too! I would definitely recommend going here! : )
Honey Nail Spa - Pasadena Jamie: I had been getting dip done for over a year, because I had heard that if you’re going to get your nails done, dip is the least harmful to your nails.
I recently moved to CA and wanted to stop getting my nails done. I came here for them to just take off the dip. The lady doing it was super nice but used the buffing tool so hard on my nails that first of all some of my nails are bruised underneath and hurt pretty bad now, and secondly are the thinnest they have ever been (and I used to do acrylic).
Had I seen the other reviews before, I probably would have gone somewhere else, but the convenience got me.
Nail Lounge - Pasadena Sheena Conjurado: I came to this nail salon for convenience since it’s close to my house. I usually go to L Nails but decided to try this place. On my first visit, I got a manicure and pedicure, but the person didn’t properly remove my ingrown toenails, which became painful after two weeks.
I returned to have them fixed and got a gel manicure, but the polish changed color the next day. Since I was on vacation, I couldn’t go back right away. When I returned, the manager offered to fix it, but the experience was uncomfortable. She almost yelled in Vietnamese to her colleagues about my situation, making me feel uneasy. Instead of being apologetic, she was condescending. The lady rushed through fixing my nails, leaving the tips sharp and uncomfortable, and I had to go to another salon to smooth them out afterward.
Belle Nails & Spa - Pasadena Krista Woods: I’ve really enjoyed coming here. You can walk in any time in the afternoon. $37 for a mani/pedi is good in my book. They are clean, and are very detailed in making my nails look good. I like Vivian, and feel she is warm and friendly and professional. Also, the polish doesn’t flake early, like many other places I’ve been.
Hailey Nails - South Pasadena Ty Papaya: Super friendly ladies and nice service. I went for a $50 acrylset with a "classic" pedicure $39. Very thorough and I like the outcome.
Dian Nails - Pasadena Bernial J: Ive only had 1 other person work on my feet and Ms. Dian does a great job. I try to go every 6 weeks. Great location great staff
Nail lounge south Pasadena - South Pasadena Christina Flores: Love coming here! Just a nice oasis of calm! All the ladies are really kind and attentive. Grace is a favorite and gives an excellent pedicure! Highly recommend!
Mai Nail Bar - Pasadena Kperry Perry: This is my 3rd time coming to shop for Gel pedicure and I was disappointed with the service today. They’re pricey but I don’t mind paying when I’m satisfied with service. Today was mediocre and maybe because I came later in the day. There was not cutting of cuticles or removal and ingrown. I have never had to make a request for special treatment, it is part of the general service. Typically, you’re greeted and offered beverage and I even had to request this, something was off today and I will return because it may have an isolated incident. Overall , I like the overall cleanliness and services
Candy Nails - Pasadena Brittney Lee: I’ve been going to Candy Nails for a little while, but ever since the new owner, Lee, took over, the experience has gone from great to AMAZING! Lee is incredibly dedicated to her customers and always goes the extra mile to make sure your nails are done with care and precision. She truly listens to what you want and never rushes through her work, ensuring you’re 100% happy with the results.
What really sets Lee apart is her commitment to quality service. If your nails chip or anything happens, she will gladly fix them, at no cost or minimal charge. She truly knows what she is doing, as she was able to look at a picture of the color I wanted and match it perfectly. Thank you, Lee, for always putting your customers first and delivering such fantastic service every time! If you’re looking for a nail salon where you’ll feel valued and walk out with beautiful nails, Candy Nails is the place to go!
