I presented with clear signs of a severe infection, including abscesses and a noticeable red streak along my arm, both of which are indicative of a spreading infection. Despite these concerning symptoms, the physician on duty failed to conduct even a basic examination of the affected areas. This level of neglect and dismissal is not only unprofessional but potentially dangerous, as it delayed the critical medical attention I needed.
It is clear to me that this facility does not prioritize patient care. The staff’s dismissive attitude and lack of thorough evaluation suggest a profound disregard for the well-being of those who seek their help. This is unacceptable for any healthcare provider, particularly one that patients rely on during urgent medical situations.
Furthermore, I suspect that this facility may be engaging in questionable billing practices. Given their lack of effort to provide meaningful care, I have concerns about whether they are billing insurance providers appropriately. I intend to report this incident and file a formal grievance with my insurance company to request a thorough investigation into their practices. If there is any evidence of insurance fraud, I trust that it will be addressed appropriately by the relevant authorities.
Patients deserve compassionate and competent medical care, and Colton Urgent Care has demonstrated neither. I strongly advise others to avoid this facility and seek treatment elsewhere to ensure their health and safety are taken seriously.
