Brian spent about 15 minutes, test driving, checking the tires, brakes, etc and even fixed a hanging tire hood and did not charge me anything. When he learned that I still came from Northridge, he immediately checked the car so I can go back home soon. May their business flourish more.

Shady, the owner, is a fair and honest mechanic—something that can be hard to find these days. I had a good mechanic I used back in my hometown. I had since moved to Camarillo and then had some bad experiences with other mechanics in town. I was hesitant, but Shady was referred by a man in town. Shady was straight forward, didnt try to upsell unnecessary services or parts, and always charges a fair price. I’ve brought my car here multiple times and have always left confident that I was treated with respect and fairly. Highly recommend S&M Auto to anyone looking for trustworthy automotive service!

Michael Ehrlich: I took my car to have the rear seat bottom cushion removed so that I could clean out the plastic covering shards and elastic straps that the dealer did not remove before delivery. Was helped by Trenton, the manager, who was extremely accommodating, thoughtful, and kind. The shop was immaculate, and the young fellow in the back, who handles the interiors, easily removed the seat and helped me get it back in. It was a lovely experience. Was highly impressed by their accommodating customer service and professional operation. Would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Ozzie Demsey: I usually never write bad reviews and I originally wasn’t going to write this but I had to after my most recent experience. I decided to get an oil change here instead of an independent shop before moving across country after seeing a $90 oil change price listed on the service website. I told them explicitly not to rotate the tires since I haven’t driven the car enough to need it well they did it anyway and of course the advertised price of said oil change turned out to be $180. They just apologized and I just went on my way. Well 600 miles into my cross country road trip, I noticed the front of my car vibrating and I pulled over when it got really bad and saw my back wheel almost fell off and my wheel stud was completely sheared. I bought a torque wrench to retorque my wheels and many of the lugs were not torqued to spec. This is completely unacceptable.

LeeAnn helped me get situated and explained the different options I have for getting my vehicle into pristine condition. They measured the clear coat and we found out the car had been repainted. They only use top quality tools and I was impressed. The end product was comparable to a piece of glass. My Ferrari is black without metallic and there was not a single sand scratch on the vehicle. It took them two weeks and cost more than anyone has quoted me but now I understand why it cost that much. They really did put in the 80 hours they quoted. I can’t be happier and will be bringing the car back for a full clear bra.
