1 /5 Emma Diamond Rose: Was recommended here by AAA DMV for smog test. Smog test was quick, when trying to register my vehicle I was told we couldn’t complete it because Broadway Automotive wrote down my VIN number incorrectly, not a typo, but wrote down the various parts of my VIN number incorrectly. I called and asked if we could fix it over the phone in the system and they said we’d need to retest it. I asked if I could receive a partial refund for my time and the inconvenience. I was told that I should’ve checked my VIN number on the paperwork they gave back to me and that I was berating them with my feedback and being rude. They offered to redo my smog check free of charge and hung up on me. When I arrived back the person who spoke to me on the phone was nowhere to be found. The owner Dave / David came out a few minutes later after I arrived, he didn’t say anything to me, did the work quickly which I appreciated, brought it back, still didn’t say anything as to what happened, did not say sorry or apologize. He walked away quickly after handing it to me, I quickly checked it and it looked wrong— I called him back to review with me and said he wrote down the vin directly from my title this time and I thanked him for taking the time to review with me.
Would not recommend this place.
