5 /5 kimi k.: I was impressed. Its a place Ive been interested in for a while and wanted to come. I came to see Big Boy today and took a look at Blue Line Arts. They were preparing for tomorrows members-only event, but I was able to take a look around.The staff were very kind and let me in.It was a sneak preview. When I see art like this, I feel calm, Im surprised, I see expressions like this, even ordinary things can come alive depending on the expression, so its fun. I was surprised that the inside was larger than I expected. Actually, I went to see Big Boy in this scorching heat and it was pretty exhausting, so next time Ill take my time and enjoy it. Thank you for being able to see it

Bernhard Museum - Auburn

YP L: Very nice and well-kept little museum. Thank you to the docent for the introduction and explanation. Spent about 30min inside.

Auburn Clock Tower - Auburn

Daniela Gaudino: The Clock Tower is located downtown Auburn The grass around and the clock itself are well taken care of. There are benches and old fashion shops all around. Definitely a nice and quiet area to relax and stroll around. Parking...I found parking on the street on a Sunday morning but I am sure it is busier during the week

Black Hole of Calcutta Falls - Auburn

D Mustard: Nice easy walk, wouldnt even call it a hike. The falls themselves are pretty but small, with a little bridge that crosses right in front of them and a small pool to dips your toes in if you want. Watch out for poison oak if you venture off the main paths. There are some routes down to the river but be careful they can be pretty steep.

The Gold Rush Museum - Auburn

Xiaowen Xu: Small museum with great exhibits and amazing docents! We took 4 boys there to learn about gold rush. The docent Ella is very patient and knowledgeable and gave us a great tour. They even have an area for gold panning! We had so much fun. Highly recommended.

Hidden Falls Regional Park - Auburn

Ori Big: 5/31/25 they are way too strict about online parking booking especially on weekend or holidays otherwise they don’t let you in. Attention: on warm days you need more than half gallon drinking water. THERE IS NO TAB OR WATER FOUNTAIN IN THE WHOLE TRAIL, only at parking lot. Most of the return path is uphill and rarely shade, be prepare with cap or other sun protections. Definitely recommended and worth to see. Check pix. There is no park wifi and no network coverage.

Bruce Meads: Easy trail out there Between suburban back yards Then the trail down is rocky/pebbles Down a 30% grade I fell and twisted an ankle I was wearing teva sandals I recommend boots for this hike

Stephen Conrad: Placer County Museum is pretty epic. Honestly, I had a lot of well-preserved things about auburn and cool stuff.The older lady knew a lot about the museum she even suggested I work there. They have a whole sheriff antique room . And a super old medicinal soda machine its was so freaking cool take your kids take hella people its free and awesome

Joss House Museum - Auburn

briantravelman: I deliberately left home later, so I could catch this museum when its open. I got there at 11:20 on a Sat, and it was closed, despite Google Maps saying it opens at 10:30. I guess they dont have any docents, as no one wants to work for free in this economy. Judging from the pictures and the exterior, I probably didnt miss too much. A bit sad though. The one cool thing in downtown and the city is too greedy to pay someone to staff it.

Ashford Park - Auburn

Joy Kodani: Ashford Park is one of our favorite places to take our dog to play. The huge dog park is a nice grassy area with a waterfall in one corner, providing plenty of space for running or playing fetch. On warmer days, our Aussie loves to cool his toes in the waterfall. For families, theres a nice playground and open fields for kids to play.

Robie Point - Auburn

NorCal Wood Wildcat: Easy trail with wide dirt road perfect for jogging/running. Only a couple of decent viewpoints so not much to it, but you are surrounded by shade for a good part of it. There are much better hikes in the Auburn. I would leave this one for dog walkers and runners.
