5 /5 Aditi Shrikumar: The best dog park in within 20 miles of Auburn. The other ones are great too - but after a year of living here with my three dogs, this is the one we come back to again and again. First, the dog stuff: its got a nice high fence all round, separate small and large dog areas, and plenty of water and at least some shade at all times of day. Nice grass too. Theres also a waterfall feature and small paddle pools, which is great for water babies and hot days.
The best thing though is the people - the regulars are friendly and welcoming, theres almost always someone there, and especially in the mornings and around sunset, theres plenty of big, playful and energetic dogs for your pup to play with. People are good about keeping their dogs under control too, if your dog is more of a shy baby, the other dogs and humans are respectful. Someone for all ages - mornings and evenings and weekends are a younger crowd, families and stuff. Other times its more senior, though I find that age doesnt matter so much because everyone is friendly and you always have something to bond over. If you havent been, definitely check it out. Sunset is my favorite time to come because the dogs all look so beautiful and the people are in a good mood.
