1 /5 Shyila c: Went in to get my roots bleached and they left it patchy and uneven. Some parts were still black from my natural color. They refused to rebleach it to fix it because my “hair would break” even though I told them it was healthy enough to survive a second bleaching. Had to fix it myself at home. Not worth $110

4 /5 Dwight Butler: This place is on Carillo and is a block over from Barbareno. Pretty centralized location. I came in for a trim. This hairstylist is excellent. She was able to assess me very quickly and what would look good. I was looking for a new style but wasnt sure at all what to get. I had a few photos of some styles that I liked. We talked about it and she made some recommendations. Im glad I listened to her because she was totally right. I really love the new cut. Thank you!

In addition to being a great chat, David gives a level of detail and attention to his work that I haven’t found anywhere else. Something I thought was really cool was how he intentionally styled my hair in a way that highlighted the strengths of my natural hair. In addition his space is impeccably clean and the big window view of state makes for a really peaceful experience. Finally I find his price to value very good compared to similar options.

Luv Hennessy: It’s my first time here and my first time ever going to a salon, I’m always afraid to go to any salon because I don’t want my hair to be ruined and that’s exactly what happened. The first day I went in and told Emma I wanted to get highlights and go a bit lighter, my natural hair color is dark brown also I let her know before hand that I have died It black myself in the Past. She insisted the she could still do the job. So the ending results came out bad it was orange/yellow in my roots and still dark in the bottom half and the highlights were uneven at the top! made it clear I didn’t like it (Keep in mind i spent $170) she said it came out like that because I had black in my hair… which I already knew I told her I had black in my hair! so she said ok come back tomorrow and I’ll fix it so I did but she still charged me $89 more dollars the next day, And it came out to be even WORSE than the first time she only bleached half of my hair so you can see a line and 3 different colors!! in person it looks red in the bottom and black in the middle and still orange/yellow in the top. I don’t recommend this place at all she couldn’t do the 2nd service free! And what’s worse she left me with extremely ugly hair! The picture I uploaded are my ending results!

coran beck: I get my hair done here by Cindy Franco - I love this salon - it is unpretentious with friendly and welcoming staff. Due to COVID restrictions for salons, they created a large patio out back in the parking lot that is fully shaded by a tent and surrounded by large potted plants - creating a lovely green hedge. (As of now appointments are back inside with all employees and clients wearing masks at all times)
